Just got a sandwich and ate about half of it before choking on a piece of plastic. After paying $40 for two sandwich plates and 2 drinks I would expect to not have plastic in my food.
On top of the plastic it Took a long time to get the food, plus I asked specifically for original sauce and when I got home they only put 6 containers of spicy sauce.
UPDATE: they told me to reach out in the response from the owner and it has been 48 hours with no response.

I loved it. All 3 people I spoke with behind the counter were all very friendly and helpful. The food portions were huge, and it all tasted terrific. It was quick too. Plus free ice cream.

Will never order from there again Order was wrong to start with . Ordered sliced brisket got chopped. Did not get a side. The food was cold, brisket was mostly fat, did not get the ribs we ordered, baked beans were out of a can and the food was not seasoned at all. Best part of meal was the sauce and it was not great. Definitely not worth the price.

I made an online order. When I arrived they informed me they were out of the 2 meat items I ordered then listed several other meats they were out of. I asked for a refund and that took about about 8-10 minutes. I cannot speak for quality of the food since they were out!!! Also I heard them say they had burnt the rolls so no rolls either.
Update: Dickey’s corporate reached out to me about review. They did try to make it ‘right’. That I appreciate. Each Dickey’s is a stand alone, that restaurant itself did not…. so my recommendation is to go elsewhere if in Hobbs.

It was great haven’t had Dicky’s in years but just as I remembered. Great food excellent service. Guy that was cutting up the meat to put in dinner was very friendly person we talked he was actually likes his job. Store was clean really good music playing while you ate. I would go back hell I planning on going back. Drove 156 miles round trip and planning on going back great think to do on a Saturday.

We used to love Dickie’s, but the quality has really declined. The building is getting run-down, the A/C doesn’t seem to work well, and it’s not as clean as it used to be. There’s a banquet room with additional seating that is never open anymore, leaving minimal seating available. The ice cream machine never seems to work, and the prices keep increasing.

I should have read the reviews of this location before I visited. They do a great job with burnt, dry meats that were cold when I got them. Green beans were mush, beans cold, and coleslaw container was not sealed so it leaked all in the bag onto everything else. For the $27 I spent, let’s just say I went to bed hungry. I will not make the mistake of visiting this location again.
