This restaurant is perfectly fine, unless you want any variation of boneless chicken. Boneless wings or breasts are always “out”, despite trying several different days and times. I’m not sure who does the ordering here, but they really need to refine that process or just take those items off of the menu forever. This has been my experience at this location for the past 2 years.

The parking lot was empty, so I should have known better. Food was old and dry. Service was slow as molasses. I’m just hoping no one gets sick.

*The place was so smokey that we are having a hard time the next day ! Breathing !

And there was black bits in ALL the food!

But place was clean and brisket was ok…a little tough…

Not the turkey….idk what was wrong but it was bad!
I can’t get over the black bits in my coleslaw…bummer

I have been to Dickey’s all over this country and this is the worst one.I’ve ever had black burnt bits in my coleslaw

A/c was out when we went to pick up our order, but we weren’t in there long enough for it to bother us. Green beans have a seasoning not usually in green beans (old bay maybe?), Mac and cheese tastes like Mac and cheese from any restaurant side offered in town, fried okra was ok, chicken was dry, but the ribs, brisket and toast were delicious! The BBQ sauces were very sweet.

Service was ok but the staff did not seem as though they were fully trained for the job they were doing… We felt very bad for them. None of our food came out correctly and we had to wait quite a while for portions of the meal. At least we have several big yellow cups to take home to remember the experience…

How is this place even still open? If you want bland cold food, this is the place to come to. And they always have an excuse. Never taking accountability and not following through to make anything right Do not recommend this place Tried it three times and every time is a failure. Look at the reviews, the same story over and over.

Well I waited at least 13 minutes to place my order. Fries taste just like they look. The brisket wasn’t tender sauce was plane no flavor. Tea was sweet like diabetes starter kit. I guess I was foolish to think that it would be good. Sub par at best. I won’t tell anyone that I spent money here.

Imagine my surprise when I bit into my garlic Parmesan wings and they were raw. Not a little undercooked. Like raw-raw. We then called Dickey’s to let them know and the “manager” whose name sounded like Beatrice said “they were cooked to temperature…what do you want? I can cook you a brownie”. So our experience was that we received dangerous food and then a response letting us know that it was basically our fault for trusting them with our food. Good job Dickey’s! I now know where your name comes from.

—I absolutely loathe/hate/despise dried out brisket. If you have to use some sort of sauce to ‘moisten’ or flavor your brisket – you’ve done it WRONG!
—When Dickey’s first opened here in Clovis, I was reluctant to try yet another shoe-leather attempt at smoking-a-brisket establishment here in Clovis and it took awhile before I tried it – and was very pleasantly surprised – they did it right! Greasy, juicy brisket that stayed moist! Made several trips purchasing 1lb containers full of deliciousness.
—When they changed locations (from Prince St to Red Arrow), I asked the guy prepping the orders if anything but location had changed and he said no. I then asked for my usual (keep all the fat – hold the sauce) 1lb container of brisket and another 1lb of sausage. Paid the usual price (and added a tip), got it home and discovered 1lb pound of sliced shoe leather which my dogs, over the next week or so, will enjoy (they have no refined discernment or taste).
—Don’t know if the brisket was old (fat all drained away), cooked improperly or just what the problem was but I am looking once again for somebody that knows how to cook/smoke a juicy brisket in Clovis, NM.

I could not find it within the large building. There is a maze of many bars/restaurants. I asked for help and followed the directions. I think I found it but it was chained closed.
