I feel like they found the sweetest kids in star and hired them all. Every time we come in we experience Great food and even better service, very kind and thoughtful! We will definitely come back!! This was not written by ChatGPT. This is written by real people and we actually care and they are amazing. You should come.

I’m wondering why all the Dickey’s in the Treasure Valley Shriveled Up and closed permanently? I received reeeeaaaalllllyyyy bad service in Nampa and they gave me “free sandwich” coupons to try to make up for the totally late and wrong catering order I received for my business event. Do you think that is why they permanently closed?@BBH eats good in ID and treats their clients/customers with respect. I love the wood in the restaurant!
But it’s a Star location where the water irrigation is cheap and the houses (some) are, too. Happy to service TVHT (LLc)

Went in to the location in Star, (we were actually headed to McDonald’s) decided to go to dickeys instead, sit down have a beer, enjoy a meal. As we entered we were welcomed.. we ordered our food (for here) asked if we wanted a drink. My husband and I both stated we were going to order a beer. The young lady working stated that “the owner is out back and neither of us here are old enough to serve” totally understandable.. she then stated that she would go see if he could pour the beer. As she brought us our food I then asked if we were able to get a beer, we were informed the owner was “too busy and can’t pour the beer”… needless to say.. this is why the dickeys in Star is always empty.. as a food service manager myself… it would have taken 1 minute to pour 2 beers.. will not be returning.

This place runs under the guise as “Foxy’s Fine Fries and Tots” on door dash. We ordered our food tonight which was the smokehouse pork and the buffalo with tots. Our food arrived with zero toppings on the smokehouse pork and the Buffalo tots were supposed to have tater tots, Mac n cheese, and chicken tenders on top. They were instead fries with dried cheese on top. Terrible quality food

I don’t even know what to say. This was a massive Disappointment. Amd that’s saying it lightly. Ordered the 3 meat plate. Double Brisket, and Chicken. Came with two baby slices of Roast Beef. No way in hell that is Brisket. And you can’t call it a plate if it come in the smallest to go container. Would have gotten double the meat from McDonald’s for 1/4 the price. Definitely gonna get my money back and never return.

They can never get my order right. Each time I order something it is prepared differently. As simple as saying no pickles on my sandwich and what do you know..pickles. I ordered a baked potato and they are huge. They barely put any toppings on it. They skimp even on the chives. They are the absolute worst. Bunch of high school kids who haven’t a clue on how to prepare a Texas Brisket sandwich. The mash potatoes are always dry and taste old..never fresh. At this rate..Dickie’s won’t be around much longer.
They have already closed one store. Their prices are way too high. Oftentimes, the Brisket meat is so dry..like rubber. Their employees are the worst. They need to hire new help and train their employees better. I do not recommend eating at Dickie’s.

Mason, Landon & Maxwell served at the Star Idaho Dickeyes location. We ordered the loaded baked potatoes with Brisket. Amazing food. Tasted amazing. These three guys make the dining and ordering experience easy and safe.

So it’s 22 bucks for the three meat plate which includes two frozen sides that teenagers heat up from a bag or whatever. And in this case, the three meats I chose were ribs, jalepeno cheddar sausage, and brisket for an additional 1.50$
I got one sausage cut in half and sliced, TWO ribs,, TWO slices of brisket , and a piece of toast.
Texas would is ashamed of any association with this place based of portions alone. Hardly 3 stars

Stopped in here for lunch about 11:45am to give it a try. 3 employees hovering over a counter end. No greeting when we came in. When I explained I hadn’t been here before and asked what was the best, the guy said the pulled pork was “okay”. No personalities, the ambiance was bleak. The food was alright, but nothing you couldn’t get at a chain restaurant. The service down right sucked! When I asked about the ribs, I was told that they won’t have any for another 45 mins. Yet they opened at 11am.. after receiving our food, the 3 employees went back to gabbering and looking at their phones. No one asked us how our food was or even bothered to check on us. A few minutes later in walks what I’m guessing is the manager, with a toddler in her arms. She walked behind the counter with toddler and as she was taking cash from the till set the toddler down and let her run around in the cooking area where two other employees played with her. This place is operated by young people with zero desire to be better or improve the quality of the environment. Needless to say I Do NOT recommend eating here. Never once did I witness an employee wash their hands. If this were my business I’d be ashamed of the people I was paying to make my business successful. Note to the owner: Clean House and find people that want a business to survive. Note to “the manager”, don’t bring your kids to work and if you do, don’t let them run around where food is being prepared.
Changed to a 1 star for the shear fact of response from said owner. I didn’t hide who I was, I review places all over the entire NW. A polite response is definitely too much for this business. I’m sorry that you can not handle constructive criticism. For this simple fact, I will definitely not give this business a second chance.

The employees seem to enjoy their job and that’s refreshing. The two gentlemen were kind and patient with us. The food was amazing
