I’m a little upset me and my family came today and spent $88 when getting home. We opened it up and there was little to no meat at all. In any of the plates I will i would attach photos but wont let me. The food was very flavorful, very good. But to have little to no type of meat on your plate when spending $30 is kind of ridiculous.

Stopped by Dickey’s Barbecue Pit this afternoon and had a fantastic experience. The food was exactly what you want from a barbecue spot—fresh, flavorful, and satisfying—but what really stood out was the service. The two employees working this afternoon were absolutely awesome: friendly, attentive, and genuinely seemed to care about making sure customers were taken care of. It’s refreshing to see great customer service paired with good food. I’ll definitely be coming back.

Take out order: no napkins, no silverware and only 3 little cups of sauce for a 2 meat meal and a rib platter. I had to use Sweet Baby Ray’s sauce that I had at home. I’m sorry that I left a tip.

Food is delicious. I had the 3 meat and 2 sides. Brisket is moist and tender. Pork ribs have a good flavor on it. Chicken breast is a little bit dry but good.

Walked in and was promptly ignored for awhile. Each of the three man crew kept eyes averted. Finally the guy in charge asked me if I’d been helped and I explained that I’d ordered 24 hours ago, but the food wasn’t ready.
The black girl was especially obnoxious. When she brought the food she said nothing, handed it to me and turned to walk off. I asked if that was everything she mumbled ” Mmm hmmm”.
If this crew is the norm, I won’t be back.
Oh, and the ribs were about half raw. And cold.

The saddest BBQ (if you want to call it that) I’ve ever seen. The meat was literally gray. The ribs part of the 3 meat plate was *one* rib. I thought I got lucky since the brisket wasn’t super fatty but the next morning, I took up residence on the . No Texas Toast, just a random dinner roll thrown in. Y’all could’ve got a couple packs of Jiffy mix and at least made cornbread as a substitute. This has got to be a franchise gone rogue, just doing whatever they want. The beans might as well have been straight out of a can. One star because the fried okra was actually freshly fried and seasoned. I’m glad I had a $5 off coupon. No need to return!

Spent $27 and some change for a one meat plate (brisket) and drink, which is abnormally high. The brisket was fatty and the bark was dry and hard, Mac and cheese had crunchy dried out cheese in it and the beans tasted like they were straight from a can with nothing done to them besides heating them. Dinner roll was hard, staff was nice.
The first pic is after I’d given up and just threw it away and left, I’d picked all the edible brisket out and the rest was dry and hard. There’s a desirable “crust” when brisket is done correctly then there’s this, a dry, nasty outer ring that’s not edible which was most of what Dickey’s served me that shouldn’t be served at all.
Also to note the kitchen equipment obviously hadn’t been cleaned or kept up on, the Ol Hickory smoker was covered in dried up grease, a long with the other equipment……. I’d definitely take some pride in the equipment, it’s not cheap.

The food was really good. However, I did expect to receive slightly larger portions. I felt the pick 3 had only a few bites of each meat, the fries were not even half full in their sleeve, and the Mac n cheese has like a false bottom that makes it look larger than it is. We spent about $45 for 2 people, carryout.
Edited to add – I went about a week later and learned they have “by the pound” prices now which I didn’t see on their website at first. This is by FAR the best deal if you are a family or just craving one thing. Added photo of “by the pound” sliced brisket as well.

They said BBQ sauce comes with the meal, we did not get any, the sweet and spicy beans, were just pork and beans from the can, at least that what they look and taste like, the mac and cheese is dry and no cheese flavor, my friend got the green beans, other dickeys have onions and meat in the green beans, I could have opened a can of beans and that would have been better. without any BBQ sauce the meat was dry, and I could not even eat it, I might have been able to eat about 2 teaspoons worth of meat. and 2 bites of the mac and cheese, and 2 bites of sweet and spicy beans, they could have at least put some BBQ sauce in the beans. I am so very upset that there was no BBQ sauce, I gave 2 stars cause it is not the meats fault they do not give BBQ sauce with the meals, this is not the first time that this dickeys cheated us with no BBQ sauce, we wont come here again. (If I do, I will see if they just sell the meat, I cant make the meat that good, but I can make way better sides, and if I do not want to cook, Walmart has better everything and Walmart’s bbq beans have meat in it. already made too. IF YOU GO HERE MAKE SURE YOU HAVE BBQ SAUCE BEFORE YOU LEAVE, or have BBQ sauce at home. our visit was on October 3rd about 11:45 am, they must not get a lunch rush on Fridays. that should have told us something.

The brisket was old dry enough to be called beef jerky. Also the inside of the store could use a good cleaning.
