My family and I ate at this Dickey’s in Brighton when it first opened up and we hadn’t been back there since the ribs had been boiled and not even smoked it was blan as hell and the sides were all from a can that was probably just opened up and thrown in to a container in another worlds store bought! The sauce tasted the same way and probably was but we decided to give the place another try today and lord and behold it is under new ownership ! The ribs were falling off the bone smoked to perfection the brisket was the same cooked with a bark that would make you slap your leg, tender and juicey, the sausage was also very good and the sides were also very good the beans could use a little more flavoring like some sauce and some smoked bacon in it but other wise fair , My husband and I are from Chicago and come from a long line of BBQ experts so we know when ribs and brisket and smoked sausage and pulled pork is cooked right and this was done RIGHT! NEEDLESS TO SAY WE WILL WE BACK !

Ribs were delicious, I got a full rack and the outside pieces were overcooked the baked beans were nothing special but still good the service was excellent very friendly people I would definitely go back several more times

First time customer. Nice place to go for good comfort bbq. Ordering is easy to do, and gives you a chance to taste it all on a budget. The Pit Boss Angel was very helpful and is doing a great job with the assistant pit boss. The support crew didn’t slack off either, they kept busy keeping this establishment practically spotless. Didn’t try the mouth watering pork ribs this trip, but it just gives me a reason to go back. See you soon…

This Dickies doesn’t even have a deep fryer so no fried okra. So I just get some brisket, no big deal. Dude asks me chopped or sliced. I say I’ll take it in like 2 big slices. The professor then proceeds to completely shred the 1/2 lb of brisket for me.

Very disappointed as we’ve eaten here numerous times in the past. Very small portions on the side dishes. Brisket was so fatty as to be inedible. Do not recommend.

By far my favorite place to eat in Brighton, Nick and Chrisabelle are truly the sweetest people that have ever served me food. They’re so kind and nice and professional. Every time I walk into this place they make me feel like I’m with my family and they’re always so kind and positive. I don’t understand how anybody could ever come in and be rude to these people or leave a bad review and on top of that the barbecue food is actually amazing.

While the service was quick, the meat was not hot, lacked flavor, and the sauce was refrigerator cold. The free ice cream was ice milk and not very good. Had hoped for better given the new owner, however, all in all, we were quite disappointed.

Okay, we had a terrible experience here last year, but had heard it was under new management so decided to give it another try. So glad we came back. Today was great. Great customer service, friendly and helpful employees, great food, plenty of ice, and the ice cream machine is back. The turkey is my face, but everything is good. 🙂

They got my order wrong. i ordered brisket. I pickup and went home very excited to eat smoke brisket. turn out its pork. And i take it back. they told me its all beef. and Lol they just lied to my face. Its actually pork. I don’t eat pork. I never going back there again. ever. 1 star. Go somewhere else.
