Update. This was for the wrong location sorry

Amazing chop beef sandwich. Was hard to order tho cuz the lady is always doing something like cleaning. Saw multiple people give up on ordering and goto checkers. I’ll be back tho You just have to linger at the menu for a few minutes to be able to order

Ok so after eating here 4 times in the last 6 years tellig myself I’m going to give this place another chance I’ve decided to leave my review, brisket is horrible the worst I’ve ever had in my life, and I eat brisket very often, I assume they sell old brisket and keep it for days, they probably use the leftovers to use in their tacos or something, anyway their sides are also tasteless, will never buy brisket from here ever again, I would not recommend this BBQ place at all! Unless you are starving and there is nothing else or can’t wait for the next stop. Just get Killian’s in Hempstead if you want some good BBQ

This is the 2nd time we have been here only to find out there is no chicken or nor sausage. I felt bad for the lady working on the orders when other customers around me were giving her a bad time.
Come on corporate…… give your employees enough meat to work with!

God is awesome!!!

So disappointed. The brisket was dry and tough the bbq beans weren’t sweet at all they were rather spicy and I wasn’t expecting that. And the Mac and cheese tasted like it came out of a box. A total waste of 23 bucks 0/10 do not recommend

I love dickeys but this is the worst I’ve ever had. Spent almost 40 bucks on 4 lil pieces of brisket 2 of which were nothing but fat, I was extremely hard and dry. The potato salad had hard potatoes that were not done, cole slaw was good, bake beans had no flavor at all, I’m sorry but yall give dickeys a bad name.

This is the first (and probably last) time I’ve ever gotten food from a Dickey’s that shared space with a gas station/convenience store; maybe that’s the problem.
They gave me jalapeño cheddar sausage instead of the regular smoked sausage I ordered; the sliced beef was sliced ALONG the grain instead of ACROSS it; the pork ribs were dry and tough. The menu offered Gold Peak iced tea, both sweet and unsweet; there was none. They had only unsweetened tea (not Gold Peak), and sugar packets. NOT what I’m used to with Dickey’s — but it has been a while. I drove 72 miles (36 there, 36 back) because I had good memories of Dickey’s barbecue, and this is the closest location to where I now live. I don’t expect I’ll make that trip again.

I am 73 and have always loved all the food at Dickeys BBQ, but I came from Grayson County, Texas. I moved down the street from a Dickeys and was elated until we got our food. I ordered “chopped” beef sandwich with pickles and onions plus 2 sides. The meat was slimy and nothing but fat strips- definately NOT chopped…. No attempt to chop the slime. I got 1 pickle slice and 3 tiny onion rings on the sandwich. The baked beans were dry, hard and crunchy ‍ and the Cole slaw was just gross. For $16.80, I should have returned it, but didn’t want to get back out.NO MORE FOOD FROM THEM!!!!!

Honestly, the food was okay. The service I received could have been better. The cleanliness of the kitchen and restaurant was poor. Lady took my payment (cash) and began to put my food together without washing her hands. I won’t return.

Just left and here’s my experience.

Got in line with only one guy ahead of me and another 2 customers joined in, but rather than taking our orders so that we could browse around the store, she made us wait to leisurelessly prepare only one guys small order, avoiding eye contact, knowing full and well what she was doing was annoying, finally returns to the register. I ask for brisket fries and she then tells me the fryer is broken.

One, I doubt that I’m willing to bet it simply wasn’t turned on.
Two, it would have been nice to know before having to wait forever for nothing.

Good riddance.

We were ordering from Dickey’s Barbecue Pit at least twice a week as I had just got out of the hospital and couldn’t do much cooking. In the beginning it was good but the last 2 order’s weren’t edible. The brisket was burnt (and No we didn’t request burnt ends). One of the order’s of fried okra was so salty it couldn’t be eaten and we three it away. They never have the fried onion strings and both times I paid for extra onions and pickles but didn’t receive them.
