Being in the zoo is great, I just wish the BBQ was just slightly more flavorable. I believe the sides were okay but certainly not my first pick of BBQ places around. The zoo is amazing and I like the cafe where this BBQ places is located and I am sure my wife will appreciate it but next time I will probably just drink the sweet tea.

Best food at the Fort Worth Zoo! Great coleslaw, potato salad and the chopped brisket sandwich is delish. They have unlimited pickles, diced onions and jalapeños just past the registers that are perfect on the sandwich. Yum!

Brisket was pretty good and juicy. Probably a fattier cut. Green beans may be a bit over seasoned. Fries were crispy and good. Dining hall was clean.

They charged me for three entrees instead of two. They did fix it right then and there but certain staff was very… loud… and the manager (I think she was manager or maybe the store manager) seemed like she had to treat the employees like little kids (they kind of where). Portions are kind of small to me but tasty. I recommend the baked potato casserole. I wish they had their old Mac n cheese with the jumbo shells

Took over an hour because they kept changing drivers, Entire order was wrong, and refused to answer the phone. The wait was on DoorDash but the order being 100% wrong is completely on dickeys and I’m disgusted with them.

better than a bbq spot i tried in sundance square, wow for a restaurant inside a zoo, i was blown away. would do well in a city setting or anywhere, dont miss out. their brisket is a+ loved the bbq beans too!
