Don’t let the 3.7 fool you. This place should at least get a 4.5 stars. Fresh in from Chicago and this was the 1st place we stopped and the customer service was great. Sallie was hands down amazing and the reason we stayed to eat. The ribs were fall off the bone amazing with no sauce (chefs kiss). The brisket was just as tender. My on request not a complaint is the sweet tea needs to be sweeter but no worries they have sweetner so you can do it yourself. All I am saying in give it a try if Sallie is there you qont be disappointed. A little kindness goes a long way!

The food tasted horrible, the texture was terrible, like someone had chewed the food up and spit it back out to serve. I had ordered brisket by the way. The french fries were also a joke, as they tasted and felt like stale frito chips. The only thing I can even compliment is that the workers were decently nice, which doesn’t feed me. If I could leave a 0 star rating, I would. I could be a lot meaner about this review, but hatred and mockery doesn’t make up for the fact my meal could have been cooked better by my 4 year old niece.

I’m actually speechless. My Ordered a family bundle 2 pounds chopped, 3 sides. $85! I picked it up and got home with it. First off, they provide 6 tiny rolls, there was 1 cup of watery beans and one cup of Mac n cheese. When I say cup…I mean one cup of food. We all had 2 spoonfuls each of the sides. 2 adults 2 children. My husband got our bread from our pantry to make a sandwich. My son told me he was still hungry. I feel robbed, cheated and disappointed. $85! A weeks worth of groceries wasted! Terrible birthday meal. I’m not sure how you guys are still in business after taking people’s money and giving so little. I will tell everyone I see to skip Dickeys barbeque unless they want to feel scammed.

The “Grand” opening is tomorrow, but they were open today. They appeared understaffed as the meat cutter was directing the other two workers what to do, who both didn’t seem to know what to do. We got two 3 meat plates with the BOGO coupon. The cashier just rang one in rather than both and applying the coupon code because “that made sense to her”. Which I’m sure is going to become a nightmare when trying to track where all the meat goes. The guy cutting meat had all the meats sitting out and they looked dry, and guess what… they were, and room temperature. The brisket had not been cooked enough and was chewy. The sausage dry as a bone. The chicken was decent, but also not hot. I asked for the other two meats to be replaced with just more chicken since it was the only good thing. The cook/cutter seemed annoyed but obliged, pulled out some from the warmer/oven and it was actually good. My mom ordered all 3 meats as brisket and didn’t eat any of it. She didn’t want to speak up and decided leaving it all on the plate at the table would send the message. BBQ sauce in the warmers probably wasn’t on as it was room temperature as well. The fries and okra were made to order and was actually good hence the two stars. If you go here, ask for a sample of the meat and if you see a bunch of meat laying out on the cutting table definitely ask before spending your money. Probably won’t be back. Can’t wait for the AI generated “owner” response.

I actually ordered delivery. I ordered a pound of sliced brisket. It had so much fat. And it pulled apart like pulled pork. I always order Dickeys sliced brisket. It’s never looked like this. I’m so disappointed paying 50 dollars for something I don’t want.

My experience today was poor. I ordered my food online and got 2 sauce less chicken sandwhich es and 2 unsweetened teas when I ordered sweet tea , the cashier that works there on Mondays when they open was poor because she didn’t solve my problem after I had to come back up there and then I called. The worst experience especially when you are hungry and you just want your food to be how it is advertised she says she put sauce in the sandwiches but there was none , literally disappointed, won’t be ordering again. (Yk the tea is unsweet because it’s darker)

The food was all cold, out of pulled pork. The brisket was dry and bland. I asked for BBQ sauce and was told they were out ( how does that even happen?!?). She said she would give the last she had and it was like jelly! (See pix).
The beans were burnt, the fried okra tasted like dirty oil. Customer service was nonexistent, dining room was dirty. This was at 6pm on Friday night (11/17/23), nobody except for my wife and I in the dining room
I have lived in Texas my whole life and have gone to Dickeys many times. This location needs to be closed and an entire new staff brought in!
For $43+…..you could do better!!
As of this date, I will never walk through the door of this location ever again.
And I will tell everyone I meet to run… run far, far away and find a better BBQ place. (Wont be hard to find a better place, as the bar has been set VERY low).

Our Dickey’s BBQ is so convenient! Not only is it spacious inside with all the wonderful smells but they have a Drive thru! We had delicious BBQ beef sandwiches!

Great BBQ joint. The restaurant staff was helpful and polite, the food was delicious, especially the sides. The free soft serve ice cream is an added bonus! Lots of value for the price. Overall a pleasant dining experience. Keep up the great work guys!
