The Fairfield Dickey’s BAR-B- QUE was an EXPENSIVE disappointment. The cashier was nice the sandwich maker looked embarrassed. The ‘meal’ was salty, hardened bark on brisket, dry old hard bun, soggy onion, small sandwich. $22.00 for two sandwiches, no drink, no chips, just not good. We had a four hour trip home and my husband was sick all the way. So sad to see such a Texas tradition displayed so poorly, especially on I 45 with out of state travelers experiencing shabby quality Texas B- B-QUE. Lesson learned. We’ll try Sal’s Mediterranean venue next to Dickey’s next time, if at all. Sorry there wasn’t a star less than one.

I’ve had consistently better brisket at an amusement park. The ribs were very good though. How can you call yourself a bbq restaurant when you have brisket that’s mediocre at best?

We order food for the dealership regularly. And the comments are always the same. Consistently good, and the best Dickeys ribs out there.

They had sold out of the baked potatoes (my whole reason for going there), so I scanned the menu for another option, choosing the pork burnt tips (from the menu on display). The cashier bluntly told me they don’t serve that, it’s not available at that location. If it’s not available, should it not be on the menu? She was borderline rude, no personality. Food was bland and meat was tough. Plates came with a tiny hockey puck of a biscuit. Neither of us were pleased, nor do we plan to return.

Drove 50 miles one way to check out this new location nearby only to be disappointed. Ordered 2 meat plate and was told there wasn’t enough of one meat to fix my plate, so I told the lady to double the other meat I had selected. 1st portion of meat was barely warm at all and the 2nd portion she sliced for my plate was COLD! Very disappointed.
***UPDATE 07/05/2020*** After leaving this review and seeing the reply from whomever it was on the social media team… I emailed my contact info and it’s been over a year now and not one person has ever attempted to contact me in regards to my Dickey’s experience at this location.
