The Bricket was not tasty at all I wonder what type of wood they use because it gives the food a awful taste. Just being honest

The giant baked potato was fantastic. The winners were good too. They had a lot of sauces you could choose from.

Shoutout to the MVP at Dickey’s Barbecue Pit in Terminal E — her name starts with a Y, long black hair, I think she’s Arabic — for saving my meal. Bread was a little hard, and instead of just replacing it, she gave me the combo: mashed potatoes + brisket + sauce = . She wasn’t lying… first experience at Dickey’s = saved! ✈️ ️

Not sure why such low rating here?? We had a short amount of time before flight departure and needed a quick bite. I got the brisket sandwich and Mrs got the chopped chicken sandwich. My brisket was LOADED with fresh delicious brisket and delicious! Wife really enjoyed hers as well. High quality meats! Service was good and quick! Prices weren’t terrible at 10 and 11 bux for each sandwich.

I ate here. Ordered a 1 meat chicken plate. The chicken smelled bad as if they cooked expired chicken and tried to hide the flavor with seasoning. So, I took it back to the counter (I’m not eating bad chicken and getting on a plane). I asked for the brisket and paid the difference after listening to the supervisor provide snide responses because “no one else complained.” It didn’t end there, the brisket was not tasty, so I ended up only eating the coleslaw. I wish the bread tasted better and wasn’t tough. $27 gone. That’s what happens when you leave a tip eating your food. Sadly, with the quality of the food and the attitude of the leadership at this Dickey’s bbq, it’s obviously an ownership issue. Why would employees care if the owner doesn’t care about the quality of their food.

Y’ALL. If you’re passing through DFW and your taste buds are begging for real deal, smoky, saucy, Texas-style comfort food — RUN (don’t walk!) to Dickey’s Barbecue Pit! ️

The smell alone pulled me in like a cartoon character floating toward pie — and the food? WHEW. I ordered the pulled pork sandwich with a side of mac & cheese and barbecue beans — and it was straight up smokin’ perfection!

That pork? Tender and juicy like it had been slow-dancing in the smoker for hours ⏳
The sauce? Sweet, tangy, and BOLD — I wanted to bottle it up and bring it on the plane ️ ✈️
The portions? Let’s just say… come hungry ️

And let me shout out the crew behind the counter — friendly, fast, and full of Southern charm They kept things moving, even during the lunch rush, and made sure everyone left smiling (and full)!

✨ Whether you’re flying out or just touched down, Dickey’s at DFW is a Texas-sized flavor fiesta you do NOT want to miss! ✈️ #BBQBeforeBoarding #DFWDelicious #SmokedToPerfection #5StarFeast

I ordered their chicken sandwich combo with bbq beans. The sandwich was so disappointing. It came so plain!! No flavor, no toppings! I couldn’t believe they charged $20 dollars for this! I had to ask for bbq sauce, coleslaw to give it some life. And also bbq sauce for the beans becuase they had zero bbq in them, they were just spicy. I would never order from here again!

My gf and I ordered a #1 combo and a #4 combo for $43 and change!!! My chicken came with no cheese, and no sauce like their menu shows, and the green beans had ZERO bacon like their menu shows. My girlfriend’s sandwich also came dry as heck with nothing on it and they gave her potato salad instead of the fries she asked for. The 3 foreign guys behind the counter barely understood a word of English and did not seem like they knew what the heck they were doing. Not their fault, it’s the owners fault. Owner needs to get this place right. Honestly I wanted a refund bad but we were starving and tired from traveling. Felt like I got robbed.

Don’t eat here. Expensive and very skimpy. Their so called “Texas bread” is a joke.
I ordered a two plate meat with 2 ribs and a skimpy portion of brisket which was super dried. Management probably don’t care since the complains are consistent across the reviews.

Worst brisket I’ve ever had. And for $29 with a bottled drink??? No. The sides weren’t bad and I liked the sweet sauce. The bread crumbled into dust. That’s all I can say. Avoid.
