Don’t even waste your time with this location. Seriously, don’t even try to order online unless you want to waste your time, still be hungry, and wait for the bank to process the return. Service is super slow. Restaurant can be completely empty and it will still take someone five minutes to come from the back to serve you and they’re not friendly about it. Several workers through the years I visited this location specifically have given me attitude like I’m interrupting or inconveniencing their day. Then, they don’t have over half the stuff on the menu. The last 4-5 times I’ve tried to go, I’ve walked out because they aren’t serving any bbq meats. They only seem to ever have fried chicken and no one in NOLA area is going to dickey’s for fried chicken. When they did have bbq meats, the quality and portion sizing you get has gone way down. I suspect that they were reheating and serving leftovers from the day or days before, so yeah, I’m done with this place. They need to close it down already and let something else move in.

We ordered our food and had it delivered. The entire order was wrong. We ordered a 3-meat plate of pulled pork, sausage, and ribs with green beans, mashed potatoes, and extra BBQ sauce. It was delivered as pulled pork, ribs, and ham with green beans, baked beans, and NO BBQ sauce. NONE! Also, ordered 2 crispy chicken sandwiches with pickles and onions, ranch dressing, 2 fries, 1 Coke, and 1 Powerade. It was delivered as 2 plain sliced grilled chicken breasts on plain buns. That’s it. Both sandwiches were wrong, plain, and tiny. No fries. No drinks. No sauce. It was very disappointing. The receipt stapled to the bag had the correct order on it but clearly they did not follow it when making the food. I have never had anyplace get an order so very wrong. I will never get food from Dickey’s again. I highly recommend that if you want good food that you actually order then go somewhere else.

Very good BBQ, there’s a lot of seating in the back. It has a comfortable relaxing atmosphere.

Pretty much only 2 things offered on the menu, no air-conditioning. 1 employee working. Shut it down or run it right. I’ve eaten here multiple times over the years and won’t be back.

The food used to be good. I decided to try the smoked chicken as a sandwich. The chicken was decent I asked for dressed didn’t get it. I got fries for the side item. No drink. The fries were so incredibly greasy and soggy like they were refried and absorbed all the grease. $14.00 NOT worth me going back. It has changed not for the better.

D’lish! Fall off the bone ribs. Tender brisket. Good bbq sauce. They offer sweet, spicy, and original. Mac ‘n cheese is ok. Nothing unique but good. The green beans are great! Different and smokey flavor. Wasn’t just salt and pepper. Definitely worth a visit. Looks small when you walk in but plenty of seating in the back.

Parked at the truck stop next door, thought I was gonna have barbecue for dinner but the door was locked and lights off during posted business hours. From the other reviews they just need to close this place
