They asked me to email them about my experience and I did twice I never heard back from them!!!
I have a really hard time giving this place a bad review but this trip was very disappointing. The smell of BBQ is still amazing but it stopped there the staff although nice was less than impressive. First thing was the young man asking if the rack of rib looked cooked to me or not. I stated it did not it was very very pink still I suggested to use a meat thermometer since it wasn’t cooked as long as they normally do. Instead of using that he went ahead and cut a piece of and decided it wasn’t done because of how chewy it was. We then were charged wrong for our meal and the chicken was old very old. The rest tasted pretty good but not what it use to be. It all tasted like it had been sitting in the warmer for a long time. Root beer was out and never was replaced, the lemonade smelled like it had been fermented and tasted absolutely horrible. Overall this was very very disappointing we love Dickey’s and the food and service is usually good but this location seems to have lost its quality and standards. Hope it gets turned around. Oh to really top it all off one young man was wearing flip flops and socks behind the counter never in my life I have seen that at and place that serves food of any kind

First time – first impression. When we walked in we were welcomed by the smell of hickory smoke. Great start. Took us a minute to see that it is like a fast-food style ordering. Ordering was easy. Staff was extremely patient with us noobs. Loose meat is chopped style. Ribs were my favorite here. Fries are waffle style – yum. Foundation drink self-service. Good place for a fast drive thru and go BBQ fix. …and they do have a drive thru.

Dickey’s BBQ is one of the few places, if not the only place where they offer fried okra and their okra is so good! the ribs fall off the bone and I had the baked beans they were they were okay I had better baked beans before. The rolls are delicious… and to think I almost didn’t order one!

Well, the picture shows $23 of food. No drink, no chips, not even barbecue sauce. The food was OK. A little too salty as another commenter said and luke-warm. The value isn’t there for me.

Customer service sucks and not even 1 of my 3 most recent orders has been correct, all have been incomplete or wrong items. The food still tasted pretty good overall. The okra was not good, many of the pieces were very woody which can’t really hold against the location, just means the grower didn’t harvest it soon enough I think.

Got two pulled pork sandwiches delivered and as I was eating it I felt something weird in my mouth and it was cooked plastic throughout the pulled pork, I ate some of the plastic cause it’s stuck in my throat now… Very upsetting and very disgusting and when I called the “manager” said it was probably Saran wrap that they cover the meat with and that was it… No sorry that happened or anything, never will go back there for food again

We usually love Dickey’s and the food is always top tier. Not this time though. We walked in and were not greeted, and had to wait 10 minutes to just order. Customer service was very poor. Once we got the food I had 5 onion rings that were cold and my husband got fries that were also cold. My brisket sandwich was half fat. I had to open it up and go piece by piece picking out all of the fat in the meet which left like a quarter of the actual meat left for me to eat. There was no ice cream machine out as well. I paid almost $15 for 5 onion rings and fatty meat. We are really hopeful that this place will turn around!

Believe the recent one and two star ratings on this place. Ordered online with dickeys own website. When I arrived to pick up my order they were out of brisket and pulled pork. They did not apologize nor make any attempt to compensate. I then waited another 20 minutes for my order. There appeared to be only one person working there at 115p on a Sunday, who I felt bad for. This is clearly a management problem. Just go to Parker’s or one of the other better options in Lincoln, even if it means a little Extra driving. The prices aren’t even that different. I felt really bad for the door dash drivers who were also trying to coordinate substitutions with the people they were picking up for.
