We first came here in a in pinch when Kroger failed to prepare our food order for our daughter’s birthday party last minute. I scrambled into Dickey’s in the off chance they may be able to prep a bunch of food last minute for a large birthday party/family gathering. The entire staff rallied on the spot to not only get enough food prepped in time for the party but it also turned out to be delicious and much better than what we were going to pay for at Kroger in the first place. Meant the world how friendly and accommodating the staff was.
My wife and I have since been back multiple times for evening drinks and cannot say enough good things about the service overall, but particularly Ian working behind the bar. Truly feel a family atmosphere when walking in. And every time we have been in have met more and more great people in the area. They have a great setup of TVs for whatever games are on, golf simulator, great food, and a good beverage selection. Definitely a hidden gem for anyone that typically sticks only to downtown and bridge street.

This place is terrible. Should have known when I pulled into lot at 430pm and only 1 other car their. Started as soon as walking in. Women behind counter was for sure bothered that we came in, rolling eyes at us as walking in the door. And very unfriendly while ordering food. And bartender was talking to guy sitting at bar cussing like a sailor, very unprofessional. Now about the place, floors dirty, tables dirty and sticky, drink counter had sticky soda everywhere. Bathroom not clean, trash overflowing, toilet and floors also dirty. Now to food. Portion sizes very, very small. My 8 and 10yr old granddaughters could have ate whole plate. Pulled pork super dry with very little taste, sausage very dry and u could tell it had been sitting around for a long time and tasted like eating rubber. Chicken was super dry and was not very very tasty either. I have had better baked beans out of a can. The tea was so watered down, it had very little flavor. What a terrible experience for 60$ for 2 people. I will not ever go back.

Owner and staff were all very friendly, service was great and so was the food. Lots of screens to watch sports. If we lived closer, we would certainly eat here often.

I’m not sure why this place is rated so high? I ordered door dash and my order came within 10 mins of ordering and all the food was ice cold, the meat was dry and I’ve never had such soggy fries? The only good part was the sauce and the drink. :/ I honestly wouldn’t eat here again it was terrible.

I’m so sad I ordered off the DoorDash which I shouldn’t have done but I had worked all week and was so excited to try some good barbecue I tried Dickeys two other times and it was absolutely delicious today the brisket was so dry I gave it to my dog and my dog even had a problem chewing it The ribs were completely tasteless The only thing that was good was the macaroni and cheese and the sausage I would not order again and I will never suggest this restaurant to anybody.

We picked up our food to eat elsewhere. The turkey sandwich was the best I’ve ever had and I loved the fried okra (had never tasted it before). The fries tasted really good and I loved the hand-cutting with the skin left on, but they suffered a little by being eaten about 20 minutes after pickup. The country-fried steak was excellent, as well and we definitely will be returning. Thank you, Chillicothe Dickey’s!!!

Not even fast food quality. And the value for the price is just outrageous. So disappointing

The worst bbq I have had in my life.
Dry brisket, the taste and feel of days old fridge leftover roast beef.
Do yourself and look into other bbq in town.

Great atmosphere, like being at the bar next to the back 9. ⛳️ the driving range is a great addition
