This was our first time visiting since we were out in that part of town. Their smoked pork is absolutely delicious! I also love the bar-style atmosphere, especially the cool garage doors that open up to a nice outdoor seating area. I wish I remembered her name, but the woman who took our order this morning was incredibly friendly. She was patient while we looked over the menu, seemed genuinely happy to work there, and even brought us a sweet BBQ sauce to try. Just very kind all around.
Overall, it was a great lunch experience, and we’ll definitely be back!

Surprised that the lot and restaurant was empty of patrons at 545, but with the quality of the food and poor staff experience I now know why. Inside of the restaurant was poorly lit by string lights, leaving the large space dark. Order was taken, and the employee immediately put in headphones and went to the kitchen while the manager on duty sat at the bar with a female (employee perhaps). Took a business phone call while seated at the bar and discussed being given the keys and alarm code, discussed their overstock of 32oz cups, lids and straws, and let the other party know to pick up the items and how to get to the office. Overall a loud conversation that could have taken place in that office. Food was prepped in about 15-20 minutes. Once we arrived home found that we didn’t get three large sides with our family pack but four small green beans, two small coleslaw and one small Mac and cheese. Very disappointed with service, staff, atmosphere and food quality. Wishing I had checked reviews before assuming all Dickey’s were the same. Meats were dry and sides were crusty as if microwaved before giving them to us. Won’t be going back.

The food was good. But the side salad you can order is a joke! Not worth the money at all – you get a whole bag of salad at the store for that money. Nothing in there but premade lettuce with carrots. They didnt even add fresh cucumbers, tomatoes or anything else. This was a waste of money

Staff took a while to appear but was very friendly. Ordered online, got brisket, pulled pork, boneless chicken & Texas Toast. The meat was tender but had to be doctored. Kids liked the boneless wings. They ought to be shamed for the Texas Toast. It’s like they jus sprayed a little butter on them and put them in the box. We were very excited about the Toast and therefore, thoroughly disappointed. Live music & seating outside available.

Service was the best thing, poor lady was the only one working the front of the place, she had her hands full, sweet, nice and trying to be helpful… I started eating at Dickeys 50 years ago in Dallas-Fort Worth and spent the next 16 years eating their regularly,…. today was my first time in many years and looking forward to the brisket – it was awful!!… dry, dry, worse than a bad piece of beef jerky,… 3 tablespoons of coleslaw at best, the chicken was dry and tasteless, green beans were way overcooked, soggy… feel bad for the server trying to make money. Beer was good & cold though, and seriously the pecan pie may have been the best I’ve ever had,…but, doubt that I’ll be back anytime real soon…good luck.

I would just like to say I absolutely love the food here. But we don’t get food from here very often because when you go to order online, you get Fanta sweet and unsweet bottled tea and I think like yellow Red Bull or something like that. Even literally if you click on the big yellow cup to order a drink, you only have those four options when I know they have Dr Pepper and multiple other options at the fountain and I don’t understand why they can’t just put together a fountain drink for us so that we can order online. Today, I really wanted food from thereso I thought OK I’ll just call them and tell them the order so I can get my Dr Pepper fountain drink, but no the phone number attached to this Google review doesn’t even work.
I’ve tried both the app and the website and both of them have this issue. It’s obviously not the fault of the fine people who work here, but the service takes a hit because of how bad the ordering for drinks is.

The order taker was over worked and cranky best as I can guess. My dining partner said his pulled pork was amazing. I on the other hand couldn’t really even eat my food, but had to because I’m a diabetic and once you take the insulin, you eat the food. I was served an old cold potato that was supposed to be a loaded baker. It was not only not flaky you could tell it had sat for some time. I honestly would have never been ok with serving this to any customer. Discolored and that ick old texture. If you’re going to sell it, make it worth having.

I tried Dickey’s for the first time and was extremely disappointed. I ordered the three meat sampler with brisket, ribs and cheddar jalapeno kielbasa.
– The brisket was very dry, tough, and almost flavorless.
– The ribs we overcooked, dried out, and lacked seasoning or smoke flavor.
– The jalapeno cheddar kielbasa didn’t taste like real cheddar – more like Velveeta or processed cheese product.
Overall, the food was low quality and not wat I expect from a barbecue restaurant. I would not recommend this place to anyone!

Today was hands down the worst… upon entering the staff was sitting outside smoking.. a man and woman. We go in and no music just silence as we look over menu… then we place order and get our drinks. The coke and and pop was out with a duck on top of each and a sticky note saying “out” I get Coke Zero and it comes out in all syrup… changed to Diet Coke it comes out all clear. So the man changes out what’s ever is needed.. I dumped my old cup, got new ice only to see BLACK CHUNKS IN THE ICE!!!!! I was so repulsed!! I dumped it all… so we then get our food it was dried out and hard chicken slices.. as we sat there we watched the mail employee go in the bathroom with his drink, which was also pretty disgusting. The whole experience was foul. We will not be returning.
