So I ordered from Dickey’s before and found it to be very good. Then I saw they had a chili cheese dog on the menu and had to try it. I’m not sure they know what chili is… The polish sausage was good but the chili was literally just baked beans with some brisket thrown in….yea that’s not chili. And don’t get me started on the “homemade ranch”. All I did was smell it and threw it away. Overall it’s ok and I ate it but I would never prefer their “chili” again

I had a very disappointing experience at this Dickey’s Barbecue Pit location. The customer service was poor from start to finish, and the food quality did not make up for it. The meats were extremely dry, as if they had been sitting out far too long, and lacked the flavor and freshness you would expect from a barbecue restaurant.
To make matters worse, my order was handed to me incomplete. I had to go back and ask for the missing items, which should have been included in the first place. The staff did not seem attentive or concerned about getting the order right.
Considering the prices, the portion sizes were also underwhelming and did not feel like a good value. Overall, this visit was frustrating and not worth the money. I won’t be returning.

Dickey’s BBQ Pit was a bit of a mixed experience. The service was great, and the brisket was super juicy and flavorful, but the rest of the meal was hit or miss.
The chicken was dry, the pulled pork was just okay, and the mac and cheese wasn’t good at all. The fries needed more time in the fryer, and to top it off, the soda machine had no ice, and the drinks were flat.
Overall, not the best BBQ we’ve had, but the brisket and friendly service were the highlights.

We got take out here last week. To say I was SHOCKED at how good their brisket was would be an understatement. Easily the best in the area. Ribs were great too.
To go was packed up and there when we arrived with no hassle. Sides could have been a little more generous.
Will definitely go back and try other stuff, but I have to get that brisket again.

Love this place so much. When you walk in the smell instantly carries you away. Some of the best counter service BBQ I’ve ever had, and their sauces are delicious!

This place has gone so far down hill it’s almost unfathomable. The side fountain had no ice and produced warm beverages. Staff doesn’t care. Ice cream machine broken (always). Spent $40 on a 1 meat plate and a 2 meat plate, and 1 drink that you can’t even drink, ridiculously overpriced. They gave us a 2oz cup for BBQ sauce for each meal and told us they charge of we want more, so 2oz of BBQ sauce for a 2 meat plate. Hopefully this place shuts down soon. Sad because it used to be great.

I really use to enjoy coming here but the last few times I have ordered here I have been disappointed. One time I ordered boneless wings and they were like chicken nuggets I could have gotten from the freezer section & they shorted me on my order although the next time I did order they put the difference of what they shorted me in my order. I ordered a giant potato w/meat and when I got it home there was barley any meat or toppings on it and the potato didn’t even seem like it was cooked all the way. It was very disappointing. At first I thought they forgot to add the brisket until I saw a small piece of it. Really makes it hard to want to keep going back, which is a bummer.

Disappointed Regular at a Once Great Spot
I don’t usually write food reviews, especially not for places I’ve visited many times and genuinely enjoyed in the past. But after this recent visit, I felt compelled.
My wife and I went for the 2 for $29 deal. I ordered brisket and turkey. She got brisket and ribs. Both plates came with baked beans, coleslaw, and what should have been Texas toast.
Let’s start with the brisket. It was overcooked and mostly fat, virtually inedible. The turkey? Honestly, I’m not even sure it was turkey. It had a rubbery, spongy texture, zero flavor, and looked and tasted like something hyper processed. I’m not a picky eater, but this was easily one of the worst things I’ve ever been served under the label of turkey.
The beans were dry, like they’d been sitting out all day. Not warm, not saucy, just sad. The slaw, to be fair, was solid as always.
But then there was the “Texas toast.” Instead of thick, buttery toast, they handed us a barely toasted hotdog bun. I don’t know how that even happens in a BBQ kitchen. It felt lazy and careless.
This meal didn’t reflect the standards of this restaurant’s past or what customers should expect. For a place I used to trust, it was a letdown across the board. Unacceptable, especially from a spot I’ve recommended to others before.

Doesn’t even deserve 1 star but I have no choice. Placed an online order. Paid with Apple Pay. Picked the food up. HORRIBLE. Mac & cheese was overcooked Kraft Mac & cheese. Stuck together and mushy. The meat looks sick (see photo). Manager states he can’t refund bc it’s an online order. Do not order and eat here!

Where to start, the service was mediocre, the food was fair at best.. the so called chilli cheese dog, not sure how they call that chilli, it was the same beans they use for baked beans with I’m guessing a touch of cayenne and a few pieces of green onion, with some cheese in bottom of the bowl, and brisket on top, definitely not anything that resembled chilli, and the bun wasn’t even a bun, it was a sandwich roll split completely open, for a chilli cheese dog… Now the kielbasa, and jalapeno kielbasa was pretty good.. now the wife’s meal, brisket was dried out, ribs were dry, jalapeno kielbasa was good, okra was soggy, green bean were ok. French fries were mushy, they had zero color to them for being fried.. CAN definitely say, we will never be back to dickeys…. Should of figured they weren’t that great when there wasn’t a sole in the restaurant..
