Delicious, had the three meat plate with 2 sides, brisket was delicious, pulled pork was pretty good and the jalapeño sausage was good but I’d order something different next time to try something new. Staff was really nice and the place was clean. I will definitely be back to try more!

Erica helped me with my order today and was incredibly friendly , helpful and professional . She was able to help me decide on what I wanted which was the 2 meat plate ( brisket and chicken ) . 10/10 would recommend . Will definitely be telling my coworkers about the amazing experience I had here as well as tell them about the awesome and friendly service that Erica provided

Me and my lady definitely enjoy the food is was good but a little cold which I’m sure was due to their warmer having trouble staying close and keeping temperature. I had a 3 meat plate she ha d a 2 we order pulled pork on both then she had sliced brisket, I had the chopped brisket as well as the pork ribs. Sides fried oakra, mac and cheese , green beans, potato salad. The texas toast was great the bread they use works well. The flavors and seasoning was great especially when accompanied by the sauces. It was a bit expensive in my opinion but overall a good spot I can see myself coming back. The youngman that rang up our order didn’t take off his gloves for some reason and that did bother us. So they only lost a star for that and the coldness of the food.

I’ve been eating at Dickey’s for about 3 yrs now. The service has always been great along with the prices. My wife and I have ordered special meals for Thanksgiving from them as well as having our sons high school graduation catered. I recently went to the location on Abercorn to get two Mac stacks with extra meat. The young guy checking me out tells me that it would be a total of $97.00 for some simple mas and cheese with a pound of extra meat i was like excuse me….IKYFL!!!! I had to have him repeat himself just to make sure I heard him correctly. Once he repeated the total I immediately let them know that I wasn’t paying for that. I have also been to the other location in Pooler and the way they fixed our food was horrible. I think these locations are under new owership and it shows. What used to be great service and food has drastically declined. Our days of eating great BBQ has now come to an end. For those who continue to eat at these establishments…just make sure you watch the prices that you are being charged.

I used to enjoy the food here but after today I think I’m going to another location. I ordered 2 sliced brisket sandwich combos, the meat were not tender and sliced at all. They were hard and chunky, the fries were all burnt and bitter, tasted like trash. The workers didnt even bother to put any sauce in the 2 orders as it was a mobile order so they had plenty of time to prepare. Overall, it was pouring rain and we chose you guys to eat dinner. Got home. Saw the food. We were so disappointed with how the food taste. I’ll take my money to somewhere else the next time 🙂

I ordered a DoorDash last night and i got pretty bad ribs. They were dried like overcooked and old. I couldn’t eat them at all. Every bite was unpleasant and i had to put it to the side. I heard this place was pretty good but the ribs killed the vibe. Everything else was delicious. Also i ordered a side of fried okra and never got it, bag was sealed.

The food was just ok. Not a fan of this location. Tables were dirty, building needs to have a renovation or a deep cleaning.
And the staff on 6/14/24 although nice. Did not have any hair nets on. Hair should be covered in food service.
Overall I would say if you want good BBQ this is a last stop.
The brisket was tender I will give them that. But flavor and true smoked meats this is not it.
And the wings were not properly dipped in the flavor sauce. Although I really wasn’t a fan I still left a proper tip.

Came in on 12/14/2025 and a red headed white girl and a Mexican boy was working. First off the girl doesn’t need a job she was super rude it’s like she doesn’t wanna work. And we had a redemption code for a free brownie. It wouldn’t scan so she threw it on the counter and said just take it. And neither of them asked if I wanted onions or pickles on my westerner. I had to go back up there and ask. And I was not asked if I wanted my meat chopped or sliced. I will not be coming back to this dickeys location (Abercorn).

Overall a positive experience. My brisket was really tough, hence the 4 stars on food. The pulled pork was excellent though.

I’m in from out of town this week so I’ll likely go back and give the brisket another try…

The atmosphere wasn’t exciting or anything but it was clean and neat.

They are really skimping on the amount of meat you get now to the point you’re paying for an overpriced side of macaroni with meat samples. And this isn’t some one-off either, at least at the south side location which tells me this comes down from the top.
