Hit of the second Dickey’s in Pooler on the way out of town. Brisket sandwich added the new cheddar cheese sauce and fries. Big win. Two of us less than $35 dollars for two sandwiches, two fries and two drinks. Absolutely the best hand cut fries.

This restaurant was awful! I stopped in here for some ribs, I wasn’t expecting competition grade but decent, boy was I disappointed! See pics below! Beware!!! Stay away from this place!!! I spent $27.51 on spoiled ribs and dry loaded potatoes! The okra was good, unfortunately I cost me almost $30!

The food here did not meet the quality I expect from a BBQ restaurant. The overall flavor was lacking, and nothing tasted quite right. The meat in the bun had an odd, almost “mystery” taste—slightly sour and not served warm. The fries were mostly crumbs instead of full pieces, and even the beans were not good. The plate shown here was $18, and it was definitely not worth that amount.
On top of that, the self-serve BBQ sauce station wasn’t sanitary—customers were licking their fingers and then touching the handles, which was extremely off-putting. Maybe this is what you should expect from a chain, but it didn’t stand out in a good way—only in a disappointing and distasteful one.

Food was great. No complaints. Love the beans and meats. Sweet tea was TOO sweet. 99% sure I got diabetes from it.
Sauce tray was all greasy. Lady working register was a sweetheart and catered to us well

Traveled from Texas to Savannah to meet a former GAC co-worker for some BBQ and fellowship. I remember when this location first opened. I was in there eating and (6) other GAC guys were walking in and wondering, outloud if the food was good. One of them saw me and said, “Willie is here, the food will be great”.

I ordered from here this evening I got the brisket ribs and the jalapeno sausage. The brisket was a bit dry for my taste but still good. The jalapeno sausage was pretty good. The ribs were freaking terrible. They absolutely mummified those things. I think I’ve actually had jerky with more moisture.

Great place to stop for a meal while driving along I-95, thanks to the delicious food and convenient location. I loved my sides plate with potato salad and baked beans. Plenty of BBQ meat options too. The pecan pie dessert was very tasty, and there’s a kids meal option. The added bonus is that you can take your little yellow cups home with you. Not a bad deal!

So I’m not sure what happened to this location but it is horrible. The ribs and the sausage were super dry like they had been sitting in a warmer unwrapped. The Brunswick Stew was room temperature. The sweet tea was empty. Keep in mind this is at like 1:20 pm. I used to eat at this location years ago and it was top notch. Whoever is running it now has no idea how to run a BBQ restaurant . After Spending $23 on lunch I have to say I’m extremely disappointed and will probably never go back til something changes. I don’t understand why companies come in and change something that was already good. This place is nothing like it used to be. What a shame

We have not been in a while due to a not positive experience. We decided today to try to give it another chance. Unfortunately, it was worse than the last time. My son looked at me after we were finally acknowledged and asked what we wanted and said I don’t know if I can order, he keeps walking away.
Our sandwiches were cold. The sauce that used to be nice and warm in store was now in little containers (completely don’t mind for sanitary reasons) but they were also cold. The temperature inside was competing with the temperature outside on which one was going to be colder.
The young man at the register seemed to be new and still learning, but I will say that the he was polite and trying to ensure everything was correct. After reading some other reviews, I wish we had checked before we went because we would have gone somewhere else. I think the owner needs to stop saying I’ll pass the feedback on to the team and actually go in and be a part of the team to see what’s going on and how to support their team.
