I ate lunch here today and was sorely disappointed. I ordered a pulled pork plate with two sides. The pulled pork was being taken from a plastic wrapped large pork piece, and there was no evidence of anything cooking in this restaurant. There was a sign right above the ordering area that brags about the “Daily Smoked Meat”. With my pulled pork, I ordered Mac N Cheese and Slaw as my sides.

If asked would I do buy my lunch here again, my answer would be NO. Should have known better – walking in at lunchtime and only one table has customers. Pulled Pork, BBQ Beans, Mac and Cheese. Pulled pork – small portion – ok. BBQ Beans – what BBQ? tasted like cheap pork and beans from a can. very bland. Mac and Cheese – oddly darker color yellow. Tasted ok but definitely nothing to brag about.

Our experience at this restaurant was disappointing. The food itself was good quality and the place was clean. However, the portions were extremely small (very poor value). Also, the restaurant was dark (many bulbs were burned out) and dingy. Our last experience at a Dickie’s was in Midland, Texas and that was excellent, so we decided to try one closer to home. My recommendation would be to go to City Barbeque instead. The food there is as good or better and you get a lot of quantity for the money in a brightly lit atmosphere. The owner of this franchise also needs to pay more attention to the condition of the store.

This location has poor ratings and I see why. Horrible customer service and experience. Very dim and sad ambience. I was very excited to try the food here for the first time so we placed an order online for pick up. Almost 30$ which is expected. They offer messaging promos, but once you do its a $35 min to receive this . We came to pick up our food and the store was closed . They close at 9pm , but we arrived at 8:15pm .The store number was not picking up so I had to wait until the next day. I went in the store the next day, with the expectation of still paying for food and maybe getting a “sorry, here’s a slice of pie for the misunderstanding “ lol….2 people working. The owner and his mom. The owner was very callous and nonchalant, after expressing my concern for an order the day before and again hoping to still try the food , his response was “ IT WAS REFUNDED “. Which I never received any notification, text or call stating so…. ( have yet to see this )

The store owner Ravi completely dishonored the T-Mobile Tuesday deal of a free sandwich. I put in the order online using the TMobile Tuesday offer coupon for a free sandwich and he said he is not participating in that and he can’t serve the sandwich even after the order went through completely online to his store. He was arrogant about it and asked me and couple of other customers to leave the store. I wasted my gas and time driving to this store. Please don’t go in there!
