Food is delicious but the portions are awfully small. From the sides to the three meat plate. I ordered the three meat plate and chose the brisket and turkey 2x’s, what I received was this.. see attached picture. I had hoped for a fuller meal for 25.00.

Great BBQ! Real food! Cafeteria style ordering with a laid back atmosphere. On average a meal with 2 sides & beverage are $10. Well worth every penny & more. Erie has needed REAL barbecue & finally got one!

The food is is great, first of all. I had the brisket and pulled pork, the brisket is so tender, a little peppery but not too much. The proportions are good. The pulled pork is also amazing. It was extremely tender, pretty flavorful, and the proportions were good. My only complaint was that the Mac n cheese did not have much flavour, it wasn’t inherently bad but there is a lot of room for improvement. We got a family platter, which is pretty expensive, I can’t lie. I’m not sure it was fully worth it compared to other options but I would absolutely go on my own. have family that works here and have heard the environment is very friendly and a great place to eat in, even though I have only had take out. All of their sauces are pretty good, and it is generally a great place to go in Erie for good barbecue. I would choose this over most joints in a heartbeat, and I recommend you do as well. Also, if you get take out or delivery, the silverware packets have a coupon for a free pulled pork sandwich inside, so keep them :). Good job!

Really good BBQ! Sometimes forget about this place with the location, but worth the drive to go there. Nice that it is out of the busy parts of Erie as well!

Food was absolutely wonderful, coleslaw is refreshingly well done compared to so many bbq joints. Nacho sausage was a wonderful spin, and very good! Pulled pork and ribs we’re also very tasty. I would normally rate the food itself as 4 stars, but the customer service was absolutely above and beyond and fantastic. We didn’t catch her name, but thank you for helping to reinforce such a wonderful life message immediately! We will definitely stop again if we’re ever in the area!

I tried Dickeys a year or so ago and didn’t have the best food//My lady and I were heading to Harbor freight for some camping supplies and decided to give it another shot..We met Jeff who is the manager and he was in great spirits and was joking with the main cook//definitely sent good vibes…We shared some ribs and they were excellent. They were very tender but not overcooked and mushy like many places make “”fall off the bone”” ribs. The meat actuall still had some life to it..I believe the only thing missing was some good music to provide a lively atmosphere. It was comfortable but sleepy feeling. Everything was very clean.

I’ve visited once before, and wasn’t impressed nor satisfied with the food. However I like to give second chances….. my second visit was worse than the 1st. Meat not kept warm. I literally live around the corner from this establishment NO WAY meat that is kept warm at temp is getting room temperature within 7mins. I definitely don’t mind paying for anything that’s worth it. This was not worth it. Portions are too small for the amount of money. I travel A LOT and have been to countless BBQ places and paying $20 for a meat plate I have leftovers…. I realized you DICKEYS weigh all portions

My wife and I decided to grab lunch for the first time ever from Dickey’s because she loves BBQ, so we decided to give it a try. We walked in just around 11:10 am, and the floor and tables looked as if they had not been cleaned from the night before, which is crazy to me. There was legit old food on the floor all around the entire restaurant. So we goto order and the kid tells us they didn’t turn the fryers on yet so we can’t get fries???? Like what? How are you open and expect people to pay full price when u can’t give them a full meal??? If your restaurant is open, it should be clean and ready for business. The cashier was polite, and the meat on the sandwich wasn’t bad but kinda small. Based on the cleanliness of the restaurant and the restaurant not being able to serve the entire menu we will not be back.
