This was my first time visiting this location.
I arrived 1 hr before they were due to close. Upon entering the establishment, I told them this was my first time being here. They explained the menu and such. I ordered my food. Upon paying for it, I noticed everything was already pulled out of its original placement. Meaning that they already started to prepare for closing. That should have been my first clue, because when I received my food it was barely room temperature at best. The middle of my mashed potatoes were actually cold. I didnt bother to complain or mention that to them because they already had to have known what they were serving me was not gonna be hot.
I was pretty hungry so I ate what I could and threw the rest away.
Unfortunately I cant say the food was good because it has a different taste when it’s not at proper temperature.
I won’t be returning to this location & unfortunately I cant recommend this place to anyone either based upon this experience.

Today was their grand opening. For the first day it went pretty smooth. Service was great, food was delicious and portions were perfect. Lots of room inside for family or small group sit downs. They had an issue with the card system.. Manager told us to sit, relax, eat and they’ll get it working.. which they did by the time we left. Norwich needed this.

We waiting for 20 mins behind 2 people for one of the worst meals I’ve ever had. Almost seemed like a microwaved chicken, sandwich Soda tasted like syrup. Food was bland. Coleslaw had no taste, the pulled pork sandwich was very dull. Mac and cheese was the worst, i’ve had better at a gas station. If this place is still open in a year I would be really surprised. It was 6pm on Valentine’s Day and it was almost empty.

The food was nicely priced, and it wasn’t the best either. We had a half rack of ribs, 10 wings(texas hot), a side of Mac, a side of fries, and one big cup. Price after 20% off was 38. Ribs had a certain flavor to them that was hard to explain, wings were great, mac and cheese was KFC mac, which disappointed me, and fries were not the best. Barqs root beer came in clutch this time.
Didn’t get a pic of ribs as we were hungry and very much anticipating this dinner. It’s a toss of the dice if we will be back

Very happy to find them and we have 7 adults plus one 9 year old girl ordered 89.99 family meals about 3pounds meat including all kinds of meat that they have, guess what? We didn’t finished it , well not means the food was not good, there were delicious, and the girl who served us was very nice and sweet. Highly recommended.

Stumbled upon this gem while looking for kitchen cabinets to do a remodel. My wife had seen it in her previous trips to Norwich, I rarely go there. She hinted about wanting to go and I had my good husband antenna up, BINGO!
The restaurant has been completely remodeled since the previous owner. No, I’d never been to the previous restaurant but, the decor shows the investment to make the location successful.
The food was great, I’ll go back, in the meantime Dickey’s has frozen entries in Wal Mart that I’ll coexist on until my next trip to Norwich!

The brisket sandwich was banging. The bark on that was fire. I can’t wait to try more of there food. The complimentary ice cream was also delicious. I look forward to trying some more food like wings next time.
