I came because I guy in my neighborhood said it was good. Well it’s well below average. When you come in you place your order on a tablet. They will bring it to you. It’s a square pizza. The crust is crunchy and the sauce tastes like water with ketchup in it. The place was clean and service was ok. It has a pizza shop ambiance. The pizza just isnt good. They have outdoor seating also. I wouldn’t come back or recommend do to the taste of the Pizza. The pepperoni didn’t have a taste either. If all you want is crunchy crust than this is your place. The place was empty.

I am from Steubenville where DiCarlos was originated, so of course I enjoy this style of pizza. The people here are very nice, the pizza tastes just how it did as I was growing up, and it hits the spot if you’re craving this kind of pizza. They bake the bread with the sauce, then put the cold cheese on top with pepperoni. It’s an acquired taste, different but good. Try it for yourself!!!

The pizza’s great! Totally different from New York style. It’s a pan pizza with good crunch, medium thickness. Not crackery and not soft. Tons of flavor. We had one pie with all the toppings, one cooked pepperoni and one original style pepperoni that isn’t baked after putting on the toppings. It was my favorite. I didn’t know what to expect, but it worked well. I’ll definitely go back.

I have had DiCarlo’s a few times, both here and in Wheeling. I ordered a few squares online last night when I was in uptown. It is tasty, especially the crust, which is important for this style of pizza. I really like the flavor and texture of the crust. It is good that you can now order it with the cheese melted (like all other kinds of pizza) or added after the bake (like they normally do with Ohio valley pizza). I’m not sure which is better, to be honest. But this location looks nice, and the guy who served my order was friendly and gave me an extra square. Also, the sausage and the hot peppers are very good. The online ordering process was simple and easy, but it seems to default to a 15-minute wait time. I walked in after ordering and got my pizza less than 10 minutes later. Just something to note if you are walking around uptown and want pizza quickly.

This place is very inconsistent. For the price you pay here, I expect my pizza to at least have a normal amount of cheese on it. The dough was also uneven which caused multiple pieces to be undercooked. We also bought 6 pieces with extra cheese and it was still less than the normal amount. I truly feel cheated out of the money I have spent here on “extra cheese” that I never receive. Unfortunately, this is now the 3rd time this has happened, so I don’t think we’ll be back.

“All of the pizza is spoken for.”
What does that even mean? This isn’t specialty food on a large, diverse menu. Did you run out of food or just not feel like making anymore? I’ve had this pizza my whole life and I’ve never been told to keep my money, even at much later hours in the evening.
I don’t want free food or any handouts, I just would like to know what version of reality I am living in where there is no pizza at 7:30pm on a Saturday. At least tell me the building is on fire, which actually happened another night I tried to order pizza.

Lunch at DiCarlo’s Pizza in Westerville today and my first experience with “Ohio Valley” style pizza. Did not disappoint.
Ordered the Pepperoni and WOW! The pizza is cut into squares and has a crispy texture due to using baking pans.
Great sauce with a super fresh flavor to it. The cold provolone cheese on top is a great touch!!

Decided to try to go to the DiCarlo’s Pizza in Westerville today. A lot of hype behind this coming to Westerville. Ordered the Pepperoni and cheese pizza, also a pepperoni roll. The pizza is cut into squares and has a crispy texture.The sauce had a great chunky tomato consistency to it, super fresh flavor to it. The cold provolone cheese on top blended well with the Ezzo’s big pepperoni. The whole thing was a new experience. The Pepperoni roll had a great outside texture to it, the cheese and pepperoni blended well and was baked perfectly. I just have to mention the friendliest staff of the worker’s here, everyone was willing to talk about their product. No doubt I will return.

If Brandon is working, I’m there. This dude can make pizza. I’m a transplant from the Steubenville, Ohio/Weirton, WV area, where I grew up on DiCarlo’s, and until now, my sons and I have had to drive over two hours to get our fix of Valley pizza. Well, now we don’t have to, cause there are two legit DiCarlo’s franchises right here in our own back yard. And both are very good. We especially like the Westerville location, though, because it’s closer for us, and Brandon is rock solid consistent in making his pies. If you’re from the Ohio Valley and crave a slice of original DiCarlo’s Pizza, this is the closest you’re going to get here in C-Bus. Great pizza. Great location. Great service. Hope it catches on.

Friday night, 30 minute pick up time given after ordering online. Waited an additional 15 minutes after arriving for pick up. Time is valuable, especially with 2 small kids in the car.
The pizza roll was well worth the $5 and wish I would have gotten 2 for myself.
Unfortunately, the pizza wasn’t anything exciting enough to bring me back for more.
Overall, great location and addition for Uptown Westerville with an option to eat outside. I would go back for the roll.
