This place was SOOOOOOOO good. Best bbq in Philly. The only reason it’s 4 stars is because they opened on Sunday at 12. We got there at 1:10p and there were sold out of brisket (which is what I wanted to try the most) and all over meat besides chicken wings, beef or pork ribs. And they were sold out of green beans.

I purchased a BBQ Chicken Platter with Collard Greens and Mac & Cheese. It was a rainy day and they only took orders from the window. The guy who took my order was polite but appeared numb to the customers. I couldn’t wait to open my platter lol. My Collards were a bit salty but edible. Mac & Cheese had a great amount of liquid in them and barely any cheese, My platter came with a Cornbread as well. It was hitting different with the old school down south vibe; it actually had corn in it!! My BBQ Chicken was the Winner/Highlight of my platter. It was very good!! BBQ’d to perfection and the sauce was a bonus!! Not to much nor to little. Overall, I rate it a 6/10. If you are in the area; you have to check them out!!

Had a beef ribs platter and a pork rib platter. The beef is much better, but you get more on pork rib platter. Mac&cheese could’ve been way better, greens were good, sweet potatoes good and super sweet. Corn bread is a winner. Beef and pork ribs were tender

Okay the ribs are everything, tender. The sweet potatoes are good. The mac and cheese is a pass. The pasta is over cooked, the texture was grainy and tasteless. I’m not saying this to be mean there is a lot of room for improvement with the Mac and cheese..the sauce is good and the brisket.

Baby!!!!! When I tell you the food is delicious….it’s delicious. The meat falls right off the bone and the mac and cheese was perfection. I chose the tuna salad and it compliments everything. That’s not the end , They are very professional and everything was prepared right away fresh and hot. That one rib didnt make it out the parking lot. I will be returning!

Let me start off saying that I really enjoyed my experience with this business. I got greens, mac and cheese, ribs, and a pulled pork sandwich. The greens were very good, not over cooked or under seasoned very good even better once I added hot sauce. The Mac and Cheese was okay maybe it’s just me but it seemed like it could use a little bit more cheese and some black pepper and it would have been perfect. The ribs were good texturally,, and the flavor was nice but the BBQ sauce to me needed a little bit more of something plus I asked for extra sauce and didn’t get that much. As for the pulled pork sandwich the flavor was good, the texture was good, but the sauce was lacking and the roll was as hard as a brick. I had to feed it to the birds. Now after adding some of my own homemade sauce just to add to the flavor of the pulled pork it was perfect. Unless you have an extremely low tolerance for spice always get the spicy sauce become mild is like drinking a cool glass of water. I wish that I had taken pictures of my meal but I was excited about trying a new place and forgot. I most definitely will be back to give it another try to see the consistency of the product and add to my order for more variety. I really believe that folks should give them a try, and I you do add your pictures and let me know what you think.

Holy smoking bbq ribs!!!!!!!!! The absolute best ribs in west Philly, jumó out your socks!!! Good. The bold flavors of the bbq sauce alone stand out above the rest, seriously good ! When I grabbed my bag the two platters they were so heavy I thought they made a mistake ! A half rack platter and the chicken ! Bursting at the seams they were unreal the moist wet and thick ribs were Just the beginning , mouth watering sides !!!! The Mac and cheese should be winning awards the cole slaw was so good so well balanced I wish I had a spoon to ladle our every waking bit of sauce. The corn bread was so well made that I probably would cry if I lost any of the crumbles that fell into the sauce ! I can’t rave any More about this place in the heart of Lancaster ! You got to take a trip up to this place it’s well worth the trip not too Far from Belmont Ave. I want to try the brisket next ! The collards were prepared with care. Over all the service at the counter and the smile on her face made my weekend I just love this place ! I ate my platter in the car I couldn’t wait the smell coming out the bag was unreal !!!! Go see for yourself. trust me it’s just that good!

I didn’t like the food at all. I got a beef rib platter with Mac and cheese and yams. It was $45 total. I didn’t like the ribs I think the smoke tasted a bit chemically. I thought their mild sauce was flavorless. The yams were fine but the Mac and cheese looked disgusting and I couldn’t bring myself to taste them. My partner did teach them and reported that that they were flavorless and dry. This BBQ is nothing to write home about save your money and make your own food at home.
