My wife and I dined here on 10/24/2021. We shared the Shepherd’s pie, and a slice of cinnamon roll cheesecake for dessert. People, let me tell you, it was so amazingly delicious! Big portions and just so amazingly good! I highly recommend this place, if you are looking for a made from scratch meal, and yummy, delicious dessert, then this place is for you. We will be returning.

What a wonderful experience! We were 8 ladies out to celebrate Christmas and the blessing of each other’s friendship. We prefer experiences over gifts and Diane’s did not disappoint. We had the Texas High Tea. The food, service, and atmosphere were over the top. Come hungry! I can’t wait to go back and order off the regular menu.

Awesome home cooked food and a great family atmosphere. We had salad and jumbalaya and both were delicious. Cheddar biscuits were so yummy! Dessert is HUGE portions and excellent! Lots of fun activities for kiddos and a petting zoo as well. A great time, we will be back!

Fabulous stop on our way to Hill Country. The staff friendly— the atmosphere pure Texas— and the food— absolutely delicious. Our group tried the meatloaf with mashed potatoes and the soup/salad combo (the summer squash soups was delish with the cheddar biscuits ) A great stop— will definitely hit it again!

Gave this “diner” a try on our way back up to Denton for work. Husband had the beef stew and I had the chicken enchiladas with green Chile sauce and a side salad. Enchiladas tasted liked they were frozen. Husbands beef stew was mostly carrots. Biscuits were heavy, not airy.
Best bright spot was the side salad! Prettiest salad ever and the homemade jalapeño advocado dressing was outstanding. Hubby also would have preferred real dinnerware, not paper and plastic for the price.
He also wondered how hot it would be eating in the open air texas heat this summer.
Staff very friendly and attentive.

Loved the food (Shepard’s pie & King ranch chicken) and the banana cream pie!! Sweet tea was good too! A little warm (had no idea the dining area was a screened in porch but they had a huge fan so it wasn’t too bad) real ingredients, & real butter!!

They had really good homemade meals to order. And the service and environment was nice and relaxing! Would definitely recommend you try it out!

The food is good but it’s only sold frozen—unless you call an hour ahead. Take-out only. I thought it was more of a regular restaurant in which food is served hot and ready to eat.

My family and I ate here for lunch today and enjoyed it! Everyone was nice and my kids liked the goats and alpacas out in the field. My husband loved his BBQ sub and the cheese biscuits were great as well. I didn’t care too much for the lasagna, though. The dining area is a screened in porch and they did their best to try to cool it off, but the industrial fans are really loud and we found it difficult to carry on a conversation.
Overall though, a nice place to stop and eat. We would likely stop again if we are ever back this way.

Yum! Not too far out of stephenville, and I must say it was delicious. We were told on the phone that the meal was frozen, and seeing that it was just my fiance and I, we decided to try it. After a short drive, we were greeted at our window by a friendly young lady with a friendly smile who handed us an updated menu and a cute little take out box with 2 amazing dessert samples inside. We had decided before hand to order the shepherd’s pie and two cheddar biscuits. Although we had to adjust the cook time to a little longer on the casserole, we were not disappointed. This is comfort food at its finest. The samples included a pumpkin mini muffin and a chocolate chip cookie that left us wishing we would have ordered more! Check out the neat activities they have to offer for kids and families while you’re there. Thanks for an exciting twist to the usual take out dinner!
