Went there with my Mother my brother and his wife. Table of 4. Was seated right away and the waitress was tentative. The food was blan with very little flavor. I ordered the burger and it looked and tasted like a typical frozen burger, minimal flavor. My brother ordered the country fried steak and the gravey tastes like it came out of a can. In a nutshell the food is mediocre at best. Now comes my frustration, the bill was $69.83 The bill came and they automatically added a 20% tip without a word. I am not saying it’s not posted somewhere but I am saying I had no idea. When I asked the cashier she said she had no idea about it. I asked the server and she said they add a auto 20% tip to tables of 4 or more. After a 3% fee for using my debit card ( I do not own a credit card) the tax the auto tip this 69$ meal cost $91.00
For mediocre tasting food. I will not go back. This is my choice , I am not telling anyone else what to do however for 91$ there are alot of better choices out there.

Fantastic establishment. Went at 9am on a Saturday. We were seated immediately even though it was fairly busy. We were sat next to the wait station and when I tell you that wait staff is a finely tuned machine, that would be an understatement. They worked so well together with extra tasks like prepping coffee grounds in filters, filling cups with ice, pitchers with water, etc. They were constantly busy and very efficient! Our waiter specifically was fantastic and very attentive. The food was hot and delicious and perfectly made. Pictured is the potato omelet. Could not recommend this place enough. Definitely a Port Clinton staple!

We’ve been going to Dianna’s for a few years now. We live about 2 hours away and make it apparent to travel to Port Clinton a few times a year, always ending at Dianna’s for breakfast/lunch/dinner. It is by far one of our favorite restaurants. The service can’t be beat – the staff are the best around. The food is amazing – I’ve never had anything there I didn’t like. The menu is quite extensive and the prices are great. The best part is the food portions. We almost always have plenty to take home. I love the Dianna’s house salad – they fill it full of fresh veggies (more than any restaurant I’ve been to). I would recommend the chicken philly or something from their breakfast menu.
On a side note, we noticed during our last visit that they have begun adding a 20% gratuity to the dining bill – you can no longer choose the amount you want to tip; they will automatically include that for you. Just keep it in mind so that you don’t add additional gratuity during the point of sale.
We love Dianna’s, but this practice is not fair to the patron.

The best diner around! Excellent prices for the amount of food. Dianna’s offers a wide variety of food to please anyone who visits. The staff is very friendly and quick. The fries are delicious, the salads are gigantic and fresh and can’t beat the soup. Stopped in with my family and was served by Shelby who was so wonderful! Will definitely come back again for some good homey food.

I found this gem on Google Maps while on a road trip during the holidays. I looked for a hotel with a decent local restaurant close by where I could grab breakfast the next morning. I love good food and eating local, and LOVE breakfast.
Dianna’s was right across the street from a Holiday Inn Express (that was probably the CLEANEST hotel I’ve ever been in, regardless of stars!). Service was fast, excellent, and incredibly friendly, which I really appreciate as a solo traveler. Not a ton of “ambiance,” but who cares because the food was DELICIOUS! Huge portions and cooked perfectly. It was totally worth going a little out of my way off of I-90 to rest and refuel with an amazing breakfast! Also, it’s worth noting that it was Christmas Eve… it wasn’t crowded, but it was wonderful and heartwarming to see a local place stay open for its regulars (and strangers like me) who may not have somewhere else to go. A good meal, a hot cup of coffee, and a smiling face can mean the world to people. THANK YOU to all the staff who were there!

The portions are big. I got an omelet and it was the softest, fluffiest eggs I’ve ever had. The staff were amazing. Very attentive, carried a conversation, and were so friendly. The tall dark haired man was walking around singing and was seriously a whole vibe! I’ll definitely be back, I’m actually sad I had never heard of it before now.

Best country fried steak I have ever had. Tender, juicy, flakey, with a wonderful crispy hand fried and hand breaded coating. Perfect eggs and warm buttery toast with a generous slather of butter. This is a great old school American breakfast that was fresh and homemade. Nothing tasted frozen like at most diners.

I got the steak fajitas and it was full of fat on the meat. How gross!!!! Fries were good, cheeseburger was good. Tried the potatoes and meatloaf those were gross. Staff was very friendly. I loved the waitress, very sweet and kind. Place is clean.
