Great food, no wait to be seated. Parking can be a bit difficult to find as it’s on main street. Service was relatively good and our meals came quickly. People coming and going constantly means that the inside of the restaurant stays frigid during the winter but that can’t be helped.

Pretty much everything here is homemade and made to order, and you can taste it in every bite. We had the pumpkin crumble pancake, the steak and cheese omelet with
sourdough, and the biscuits and gravy, which honestly might be better than most places down South (and that’s saying something).
The bread is baked in house, the tea was freshly brewed that morning, the pancakes were fluffy and clearly made from scratch, and the maple syrup is local. It’s real comfort food done right.
Our waitress Jill was phenomenal. She explained everything so well and set expectations about the wait since everything is made from scratch. She’s a local who clearly loves her job, and it shows. I’d come back just for her.
Totally worth the stop and the wait. A true hidden gem in Tilton.

This is a nice little diner. I stopped in during lunch while my son was getting a haircut. It was not very busy. I sat at the counter. I ordered the sausage gravy/biscuit with fried home fries and scrambled eggs. It did not take long to come out. Everything was good, I looooooved the sausage gravy and biscuit. They made my eggs nice and dry/well done, the way I asked (which is actually harder than you’d think at some places). The ladies working were very friendly as well as the customers who seemed to be regulars.

Cute place, food took over 30 minutes to come out. I am ok with that. One whole order was messed up and cold. Tried fixing still didn’t bring bacon and toast. Finally brought bacon. We paid and left still no toast. Yes the eggs were cook well and homemade bread was great.

If I could give 0 for food I would. Waited 20 min for 2 bfast sandwiches to go. As im watching the gentleman in the window ripping a piece of bacon apart, and wipe his hands on his shirt, NO GLOVES! What restaurant allows a cook to make food with no gloves, wipe his hands on his shirt, touching the printing machine, grabbing tickets and putting them up, all while making 1 of my sandwiches… no thank you. I walked right out. WILL NEVER EAT HERE (PS for 2 coffees and 2 sandwiches – to go- left a 12$ tip, didn’t ask for refund, just left ABSOLUTELY NOT!!!!)

Absolutely the WORST experience ever! I called ahead because we had 5 adults and 6 children. They said it would be a wait not a problem. We would be there in 5 minutes. We arrived the nasty lady said they would NOT be able to seat us because they had multiple people come in. I said it’s okay we can wait. No worries. Then she said the kitchen was 45 minutes behind! Well then it was clear that they didn’t want to seat us!

Went on aThursday wasnt busy, took 40 minutes to get eggs Benedict, although I saw three cooks in the back. Food was very good I cant deny that. When I went to pay my bill my $13.95 eggs Benedict(that was the price on the menu) was $16.95. And there was a $1 surcharge for eggs???? And my friends check didn’t have a $1 surcharge although he got eggs lol!!!! Well I wasnt about to let it slide especially after an 1hr and a half experience at this point. The waitress said the new menus weren’t updated and that was the new price…..I told her that was the resturants problem not mine I want the price it was listed on the menu. My mind is baffled already until she explained the egg surcharge, I think she would have a better time saying it was just a scam. RIDICULOUS! Won’t ever be back.
