Reviews
It was in walking distance right across the street from our hotel.
The atmosphere and food and service were very good. They were very busy. Maybe a little short staffed but they did very well!
We love all the sports memorabilia around the Establishment ice cold drinks and great food!
It’s a nice little place to stop in and enjoy some sports on TV, a couple of appetizers or drinks with friends.
If you’re ever around town definitely hit up Diamonds, Sports Grille! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
Going back when we’re in the area again, for sure!
Our waitress was Kaylee M. (Unfortunately)
We came in as a party of 8. sat at a table of 4, and 2 tables of 2. Told we could not split Checks per couple (we were multiple people of tables of a couple of couples) we were told we could only split checks per table, no further – and we were told to venmo eachother & put it on one card.
Then- we were charged gratuity for a group and not able to choose our own gratuity per table.
Kaylee M. Was incredibly rude, dismissive & discriminatory from the beginning of the interaction. The parameters were not explained until after we ordered (we would have arranged better per couple had the parameters been explained) *Note: there was a sign that said 1 check per table, but when you enter from the patio the sign is not apparent. The sign in front does not allow for hostile / negative behavior from any waitress ever.
Another waitress came out to tell us that our waitress wasnt smart enough to split our bill per couple, rather than per table…and it was the owners fault that they could only split per table… (she was waiting the bar and when we asked why she was giving us so much attitude she expressed that taking care of us wasnt her job and she needed to wait her bar, to which we requested to have our original waitress back to sort out the issues)
To the original waitress, We asked for the automated gratuity to be removed (to allow us to choose our own gratuity at a higher rate than the automatically applied 18%) to which she said she would do for one of the tables of 2, but not the table of four. When we asked why it was split like that, but then gratuity added to ALL OF THE CHECKS (at that point multiple people in a single couple were all being charged gratuity) – we asked- “why are we being charged as a large party, if we are forced to sit at separate tables, and charged per table) the waitress responded with hostility, defensive & told us to pay our bill and leave. (Never once did we ever say we were not going to pay, we always pay our bills)
The interaction ended by the waitress stomping away. No resolution for anyone & we paid our overcharged tab and left peacefully. We will not be back to this location. Id rather overpay across the street at the hotel bar than deal with the terrible, uncurious service at Diamonds.
If you value customer service, avoid this location.
