We came in for a dinner. The service was excellent and the order came out quickly.
The waitress was very pleasant and gave us good explanations and suggestions.
Everything was very tasty and made with fresh ingredients.
The only thing we did not like was the Tom kha soup which was extremely sour. If you don’t like sour food do not order it!
Will be back to try some more.

It was my first time trying Diamond Thai and it did not disappoint! The food is very fresh and the portions are very large. I placed my takeout order on the phone and the woman warned me about the spice levels. I said I wanted a three, and she told me that their spice levels are higher than other Thai restaurants. I listened to her and got a less spicy level (a level one), and I’m glad I listened! It was still very spicy but very enjoyable. The food was ready at exactly the time I asked for it and packaged really well and secure for takeout. It has become my new Thai spot!

Amazing place to have Thai food near Somerset area. Really nice ambiance, lovely customers service. They would warn you every time regarding spice levels from 1-5 . I generally prefer 2 as this has that night kick to it. Lovely food and spectacular taste every time . I have already visited more than 10 times over here.!

Two of us had dinner at this wonderful Thai place in town. Very friendly, prompt and professional service. The food was excellent – authentic Thai (not watered down to American tastes). We had Thom Kha soup, Drunken Noodles, Gang Paa (3 chilli hot – the fire hits your taste buds after a few bites) and Sweet sticky rice/mango. The owner/manager warned us in advance about the .

Delicious food, had lots of chilled water to wash it down, that got promptly refilled.

There are lots of vegetarian options and there is lots of free parking around.

Will definitely patronize them again.

Brought a colleague here on a business dinner The food is average and nothing remarkable. Portions are appropriate and the service is fair.
We asked for chopsticks. They don’t have any. We asked for chili paste and chili flakes as a condiment. They don’t have that they said.
The atmosphere in the dining room was stuffy.
It appears they are cost cutting at the expense of the customer’s dining experience.
Cannot recommend.

My friend and I came here on a Sunday afternoon and we don’t regret it! Service is very friendly, I felt like I was eating at my aunties house. It was a girls’ catch up session and we never felt rushed or interrupted. We started off with the veggie rolls and rotee pancake and both were very good. For our mains I got the yellow curry with chicken and my friend got the pad king with chicken as well. Both dishes were perfectly seasoned and yummy. I got the regular spice level and didn’t think it was too spicy, just perfect! We both walked away satisfied without feeling grossly full. Delicious Thai food, come support your small businesses

My daughter and myself went for dinner and enjoyed Roti Pancake, Tom Yum Soup and Drunken Noodles. Thai Iced tea was good too. We ordered Spice level 3 but the owner suggested to try the appetizer spice level before. We are grateful for that. Level 1 was perfect for us.. Good food and attentive service.

Where do I begin ?! From start to finish my friend and I had a lovely experience. We had a lunch date with our two sons and the waitress was so lovely and would keep refilling our cups with hot water while we drank green tea. She was very patient and explained the different dishes..we tried Gang Ped Yang Duck for the first time and it was delicious ! I am still thinking about it lol. We also had Tom Kha Gai and it’s the best I’ve ever tasted not too watery so creamy and savory, it was exquisite. We ordered Pad See Eue for our boys and they loved it ! I would highly recommend this place I have been to other Thai restaurants but this one is at the top of my list. From service to quality—5 stars across the board.

Like home-cooked fresh Thai dinner!

Diamond Thai Cuisine has been reputable locally, apparently, for their curries and delectable desserts. Of course, I had to go for the Mussamun Curry, since that is my favourite Thai curry. I also had a Tom Yum Koong soup and asked for an extra (level 2) kick of spice. I also didn’t forget the Thai iced tea!

I started out with two appetisers to share with the table: Curry Puffs and Honey Puffs. The curry puffs didn’t come out too oily nor too dry, which is the perfect in-between that doesn’t lose any of the filling’s flavour. The Honey Puff, served atop lobster bisque curry, was nice and unique — if its one appetiser you must choose, this one would be it.

Next, the Tom Yum Koong soup with level 2 of spice gave me a kick I actually quite enjoyed. For those unfamiliar, the soup is a little sour and the spiciness can kick back a bit. However, if you care more about the spicy, the zippiness of the soup will surely satisfy. As you get down the bowl, it does get more spicy… but it’s really soothing towards the end.

Continuing on, the Mussamun Curry, my main course with a level 3 spicy kick served with a bowl of Jasmine Rice, was nicely done with a fair helping of the fillings in the dish (peanuts, potatoes, onions, carrots, and bell pepper.) I mixed the rice gradually into the bowl with the curry and enjoyed it like a rice in soup… and it did go really well together!

Finally, I had two of the desserts (for which they don’t have it written out on their menu, but was explained by the waitress) — There was a Mango Sticky Rice dish served with Coconut Milk drizzled on it and a Coconut Pudding. The Coconut Pudding had a real cooling effect after all the spicy foods I had devoured and tasted… well, like the coconut it was in! Amazing stuff and a definite must-have for those who enjoy coconut! The Mango Sticky Rice was a sweet compliment to the entire meal with one last bit of coconut through the coconut milk!

Compliments go out to the waitress that explained and recommended the dishes tonight. The appetiser and dessert recommendations were some of the best and I do not regret deciding based on that. The service was very attentive and hospitable for a high-quality dining experience. With regard to the great dishes of the night, the chef, too, deserves great compliments!

Diamond Thai Cuisine is a literal hidden gem in Somerset, but I hope people do go check out this place for some really great Thai cuisine! They have a huge menu with so much to try, I hope to come back and try out their noodle dishes and their duck dishes. Meanwhile, I hope others do come to try out their curries and more!

Great spiciness options. My friends and I prefer extra spicy food all the time and the 4-out-of-5 level spiciness this place offers is a great level for us. The flavor, presentation, and service are great for the price; the owner even explains the dishes to us and warns us if something might be too spicy.

Entrees:
Gang Dang (red curry) – good; note that spice is weakened due to the coconut milk.
Gang Paa – strong spice, good lemongrass and lime flavor.

Appetizers:
Satay (beef & chicken combo) – both meats are good; I prefer the beef.
Honey Puff – good and can adjust spiciness of the sauce; level 1 spice is noticeable, level 4 is strong but not absurd.
Curry Puff – good.

Desserts:
Coconut Custard – very good and a decent amount for 2-3 people. The coconut flavor is very natural.
