In my opinion, this is the finest Ribeye in NE Ohio! I’m a huge fan of Diamond Grille! I have eaten here at least 100 times in my life and I live in Downtown Cleveland. It’s worth the 40 minute drive for me. Personally, I’m stunned by a sub 4-star rating from my peers. I’ve never had a bad experience.

Old school is right. Don’t let the looks of the outside scare you away. The owner/ chef of Shy Cellars, and multi winner of “the taste of the hall of fame” recommended this to us. She said “it was the best steak I didn’t cook myself, go on Tuesday and get the Porterhouse for 2”

Cash, check or ATM only. I would give it a solid 7/10. The seafood is good (recommend the oysters and lobster), the steak is okay, bread and desserts are stale. The restaurant is very old and run down for the price of menu items. Expect to spend $100 per person.

Best steak house in Akron. Please note, must pay by check or they mail you the bill (I’m pretty sure there’s a credit card machine in back though bc like come on, you’re gonna mail some rando out of towner a check for $300? No way)

As always, a fantastic experience. Alas, no POS system, cash, check or business account only. So no details on a receipt so no sever name, so I guess I have to call out everyone. It’s worth the trip to the ATM for the experience. Surprisingly casual for such an upscale establishment, but everyone was respectful. Nice shorts at the bar. Was a wonderful evening with a friend I hadn’t seen in ages. They probably won’t care about a review, but they certainly care for the customers.

One of a kind experience. We had a table of six and every steak was hot and cooked perfectly. The drinks were great . Oysters with the best horseradish sauce . Katie and her staff did an excellent job with a very packed house. Thanks for a fun evening.

Always has been my favorite special occasion place. First thing that jumped out during our most recent visit is the prices have skyrocketed. Large filet now $72. Longbone ribeye now $68. Significantly higher than our last visit in the spring. Food was great, except the bread was stale (at these prices, you better serve steaming fresh bread). I’ll always go back but it was shocking how much they’ve jacked up prices.

Old school. It wasn’t my first visit, but it had been a while. The place has changed, for the better.
