Don’t waste your time getting a sandwich here. You can’t get it on any of the specialty breads which was the main reason I wanted a sandwich from there. We had to get basic sourdough, which was decent bread, but the sandwich was the most bland and basic sandwich I’ve ever purchased. Very limited toppings and they only have iceberg lettuce, which everyone knows is garbage.

This bakery makes such delicious bread! It smells like heaven inside. Their focaccia is probably my favorite, but all of their breads are fantastic. You are in for a treat if you manage to snatch a cinnamon roll before they sell out for the day. Diamond city bread is tucked away in the basement of the building, you’ll miss it if not looking for it.

Everything about this place is cool. It’s in the basement of a super old building with a lot of charm. You descend the steps to a door which brings you back to a simpler time–a time when people knew how to make bread, really, honest to goodness, bread. Bread that you wouldn’t put on the same shelf as the nonsense we’ve all become accustomed to. This is the kind of bread people used to eat instead of meat, because it’s just that good. Grill it to a char; melt a big slab of Irish butter on top and let it sink into all those little holes. Then rip off a chunk in your teeth. You’ll feel like you’re a new person. The world around you hasn’t changed, but you have. Try this bread. You’re going to love it.

It was downstairs and it had a welcoming feel to it. The woman behind the counter was in her element, she looked and is a baker of these fabulous breads.

Discovered this place on accident and turned into our favorite after one visit. We were on the hunt for a bread to bring to Christmas and wandered into a local shop that recommended this place. We left with 3 different flavors and everyone raved. We are no longer buying regular bread from the store, we will be back for all our bread needs !

Their breed will not disappoint. Great standard breeds, along with daily specialty loafs.

I bought a baguette there hoping it was sourdough. It was absolutely horrible. They don’t have a clue how to make a french baguette. So disappointing!

The best bread for everything and so fresh! We love their daily sourdoughs, their fritter bread is such a nice treat, and the cinnamon rolls are delicious. We often pick up 4 loaves of various flavors at a time and freeze what we won’t use immediately. We even had some extended family up north who had heard of diamond city from their coop and had raved about them.
