I have been wanting to try this place out for quite some time. I only had the General’s Chicken with fried rice (combo with egg roll) and it was okay. I would say it is slightly better than Panda Express, if only for the fact that it is a small business; however, the lady working the register was definitely NOT Ms. Personality.
I will go back and give it another try in the future, but what I had just didn’t leave me wanting more anytime soon.

I couldn’t recommend this place more, if you want actual good food come here. If you want to sample the excellentness of this fine restaurant? Get the lunch special. Want the have the best dish you’ll ever have? Order beef chow fun with no vegetables. I live in Florida and fly here just to get it. I’d buy the place just to know it stays open. I’d buy the chow fun recipe if I could for an obserd amount of money. If heaven was real I’d be right here eating this food.

I have lived in diamond springs since 1999. Loved Diamond Chinese restaurant. Quality is going down. Prices are going up. Portions vary. Their hours are never accurate. I went in on a Saturday night at 8pm. Woman owner was rude and put off that we wanted to eat in. Wasn’t like that . Its unfortunate…if you dont want to be open or serving the public just close? Last time girlfriends and I all got sick. Never going back.

This was once my favorite chinese restaurant but lately the food quality has gone downhill, portions have gotten much smaller, prices have gone up, and even though their sign says they’re open sundays there seems to be a very small chance that you will actually find them open. In fact, I showed up today to find a sign saying “closed today” in their windows. If you’re going to have your sign say you’re open during certain hours I suggest you be open during those hours. I’ll be going to Grand China from now on.

Stopped here tonight about 7:50 PM to grab a bite. A child was in the dining room calling mom (I assume) and it took her a few minutes to come out from kitchen. She asks us if take out or dine in and she looks at the clock and then says have a seat while waiting on a take out order. The hours state they are open till 9 PM. They were not busy, 2 maybe 3 tables were occupied. We walked out. If we had walked in at 8:30 I could understand the obvious look at the clock, but with over an hour of the evening left I felt like we were bothering them coming in. It’s unfortunate the attitude was obvious, based on the reviews, I was actually looking forward to checking them out.

Great food! Small portion for a small price. Shotty hours on when they are actually open. Call before you come to make sure they are open.
