Paid almost 6 dollars a piece for a few sausage wraps and we got a little 3-4 inch piece of sausage on each one. Food is good but feel like this is a rip off.

Never travel this part of the country, BUT sine I’m here I’m sure glad I stopped here for a snack. This place is family owned for generations
And it’s shows in their food and service. I don’t eat BBQ so I can’t speak to that except there was a steady stream of customers!
I got three sides: green beans, potato salad, and French fries ( I know!). All were delicious! And the staff was wonderful! I will definitely be back when I’m in this area!! It’s worth the drive.

Wow! My husband and I found this gem while driving towards Houston from San Antonio area. It feels like Texas as soon as you walk in- southern decor, fresh barbecue smells. I was very pleased with how clean the restaurant was and how nice the staff were. I’m pretty sure they were the owner and owners family. Thank you all for making me and my husband feel so welcome and we will definitely be back if we’re ever in town.
Their fresh bbq line stops at 3 pm right now and their store closes at 5 pm but they still had sandwiches and sausages available for purchase which was nice!

Love this place and love Mr Goss who is a supportive member of the volunteer fire department in Belmont, however I just wanted to leave a note to let people know that since a couple of weeks ago Goss BBQ does NOT make custom tacos anymore. The kitchen staff now prepares them early in the morning and they are for sale in the hot box, just like a Circle K gas station. It’s not fresh made anymore. Whatever is in the box is whatever is available. Unfortunately for me, that’s means no more tacos ever again since I don’t eat sausage or brisket, and all the tacos in the box have one of these items in them. I’m very saddened by this change… Goss BBQ used to be my number one favorite taco place in Texas. Now it is gone. Went from five stars to no stars… Very sad. I hope the owners change their mind in the future…

The worst brisket I’ve ever had in my life $12 brisket sandwich to go that falls apart. Brisket feels like boiled meat, has no flavor. I asked for sauce in this sandwich, you can barely see it. Looks like watery Sauce. Save your money and time. Don’t order food from this place. I never write reviews, this one deserves it.

Stopped for quick breakfast on our way to Nordhiem, DON’T order their 5plus dollar breakfast tacos. YUCK! I’m sorry but there was nothing good about them. They were wet yes wet and it was egg bacon. nasty nasty shame on them for serving nasty and charging over 5$ for it. Hope their BBQ is better but you can bet I’m not going to chance it. I’m sorry I’ve eaten bad but ewww on those breakfast tacos.

This will be our new go to place to eat when driving from Corpus to the Murphy’s motocross track. Even though they specialize in BBQ, I was craving a burger and took a chance. Wow what a surprise. It was delicious and the fries were incredible. The staff is incredibly friendly and fun to chat with. Oh yeah, a huge selection of carry out beer and decent on tap selection. Thanks and looking forward to trying your breakfast tacos on the next trip.

We usually eat BBQ in Lockhart at a well-known place, but we decided to stop here and try it out. The brisket taco was scrumptious and my husband enjoyed his BBQ plate. We topped lunch off with banana pudding. And the ticket was much easier on the pocket than the popular place! I think I see more tacos from this stop in my future.

Food is incredible here. Get the brisket! The pork ribs are perfect also. And sauce is perfectly tangy. Very nice people and great barbecue. I just ate way too much because it was so good. Nothing left on my plate but the bones.
I’m updating my review because I thought it would be easier to find great barbecue like this, but it’s not. I’m at another barbecue place about 2.5 hours away and its not even close to as good. I wish I were back at Goss’ place. If you’re anywhere near here make sure you stop by.
