So they were closed for a bit but the original owners are back and it’s as good as it ever. The beef birria is amazing and is talked about nationally, as good as it gets! Service is great, food is great, large variety of options and friendly service! These are very nice folks serving not your chain Mexican food but food as good as anywhere. Well done!!!

Been coming here for a long time. Love this place until recently. Service is extremely poor. Waited forever to just get water. 30-40 minutes to get food. It was delicious as usual but the wait may discourage us for future visits.

Yes! Come here and fill your tummy with absolutely wonderful food. Authentic – Birria has a special unique flavor that WAS NOT lacking. We ordered the Birria Pizza and was not disappointed. The consumé was fabulous, options of 4 different salsa’s at different “fire levels” – Habanero, Chile de Árbol, Chipotle & Salsa Verde all tasted amazing, like my mom would make.
Overall, Im writing a review because im visiting family/friends from Texas here in Poulsbo and I would love to eat here again NEXT time I come!

– The food was incredibly delicious, my sister and mother said the carnitas was some of the best they’ve had.
– The birria pizza was very delicious as well as the consommé. It could have used a bit more depth, but otherwise very delicious.
– The sopa was sadly quite disappointing, the antojito was very over cooked and dry, and could not be bitten into. The asada was a bit unseasoned as well.
– The complementary chips and salsa were very delicious as well.

– Structurualy it is quite accessible, it is ground level with a ramp to the side walk. The door is slightly narrow and the tables are booths so wheel chair users may access the table.
– Sensory, the music is a bit loud but not harsh, the lights are somewhat dim.
Service – 10/10
– The service was great! We had gone on NYE and there was only one waiter in a packed restaurant. They also had received many DoorDash orders he was rushing to fulfill as well. He managed it all very well with kindness and grace!

– Nice wall art, cozy area, and good music.
Parking – 10/10
– Lots of parking available, it is in a shopping center so there is lots of parking availability.
Price – 7/10
– Somewhat affordable, it was $4 for a single taco, which always is a good sign of pricing. The pizza was a good deal, it could be a little cheaper but really not too bad.

Food was great! Small little taqueria with one no nonsense server that obviously knows what he’s doing and super friendly. Food came out hot, homemade salsas! Got the birria platter. I hope the birria quesadillas and consommé think about me as much as I think about them.

11/8 – Ordered two Party Trays of tacos to be delivered for our micro-wedding and they were awesome!
They were willing to work with us for delivery on a day they were already super busy and helped us accommodate the vegetarians in our group.
We love their tacos so much that we even enjoyed the reheated leftovers over the next few nights.
Thank you guys so much for being such an awesome spot to order tacos from!!

Stopped in for Taco Tuesday based solely on hearing this was a nearer place in town and im not here too often. The restaurant itself is pretty interesting inside with graffiti type art on the walls and bright vibrant booths.
I ordered 6 street tacos, 2 chicken, 2 chorizo, and two ground beef. All were incredibly delicious. I had the habanero hot sauce (which is a 4 out of 5 for them) on all proteins. Its SUPER good. Just the right amount of heat for me, but probably not for folks who are sensitive to hot foods. Had the Chile de Arbol on the chicken, and it went really nicely with that. Last I put some Chipotle on a ground beef taco, and while it wasn’t my favorite, it still added a nice smokey flavor and mild spice.
Overall, a very positive experience and a place I will certainly be back to!
