Amazing authentic Italian fare. Large portions and great food. I had the chicken saltimbocca and it was perfect with plenty of mushrooms and cooked perfectly. My wife had three eggplant rolitini and she said it was stunning. I’d give it a perfect 5 out of 5 but it was so dark in there I had trouble finding my fork. It was so dark in there when I bit my finger I wasn’t sure if it was because tho food was just that good or if it was because I couldn’t see what i was doing. I did have to use the flashlight on my phone to read the menu lol. Great place otherwise, ill definitely be returning soon!

I had a waitress by the name of Ms. Idah and she really made my experience jus as pleasant as the food. She has a wonderful table presence, very personal and warming. She really made my night. The owner is actually blessed to have such a wonderful staff specifically Ms. Idah! May god continue to bless her and the entire establishment. The food was immaculate service was 5 star as well as the food! If you’re in the Winston area stop by you won’t be disappointed and request Ms. Idah as your server if u can.

Such a great spot! Definitely get there early unless you want to wait. The restaurant was full at 4:30. The specials are on point and the Osso Bucco was so flavorful! The marinara was bright and complex. The bread was so-so but the basil emulsion was gorgeous! The wine was “eh” but I do think they let you bring your own (probably for a corking fee). This was the perfect end to our day at Old Salem.

Wanted Italian and visited based on the reviews and they lived up to the ratings.

Parking is a little tight with the parking lot being smaller but there is street parking as an option.

Atmosphere and the location. The atmosphere is pleasant and has a nice family style restaurant feel to it. Tables are small so things get a bit crowded quickly and the seating area is on the smaller side so while we didn’t have a wait I could easily see long waits for a table. I wouldn’t attempt to do a bigger party of more than 4 without forward planning.

Service was good, servers were pleasant and mostly on top if things.

Food, this is where Di Lisios really shined. The food portions are as they should be with classic Italian food, large. The quality of the food was really good and the selection of dishes had a good variety and were well prepared. Highly recommend the chicken parm, meatballs, and fried mozzarella. The pasta was good but hard to tell if they make their own daily or not based on the spaghetti I had.

Will definitely visit again as its the best I’ve had since Tre Nonne closed a couple years ago.

Fantastic staff, fantastic food! We were warmly greeted by the hostess and quickly escorted to our table. Our server, Helen M., is top-notch! She told us about the evening’s specials and was very attentive throughout our dinner experience. She made us feel right at home. We will definitely be back! P.S. Try the seafood dip; it is delizioso!

We recently stayed at the nearby Historic Brookstown Inn (highly recommend) and during our trip decided to eat here TWICE in the same week – that’s how good it was. The staff were very friendly and we appreciated the homey “mom and pop” vibes of the place. The food was all delicious and the portion sizes are extremely generous. Recommended dishes include the “create your own pasta” (great value, we always had leftovers), the chicken veggie pasta, the chicken ravioli, and the tiramisu!

I love the food but if you fall in love with a menu item one week (pumpkin stuffed ravioli) you may not have the option to order it again the following week if its seasonal. I was thinking that would of been on the menu longer. The space is small but they do have seating outside. The service is AMAZING, servers are truly knowledgeable of the menu and specials. The parking lot is small too so we had to circle a few times to find a parking spot on the street. The food is good for the price due to the quality.

We ate here for dinner for the first time yesterday. We arrived early around 4:00 to avoid the evening crowd and sat outside on their patio. The bread and pesto appetizer was some of the best we have had! We ordered calamari and drinks. The calamari was good, but the marinara they served for dipping was the best we have had. For dinner we ordered the daily specials. One was the veal and bone marrow dish, the other was a tortellini with steak and shrimp in a creamy rosemary sauce. Both were very good! We plan to return soon!
