I am visiting Raleigh/Cary and asked my folks if there is a super good pizza place around the city and they recommended Di Fara.
The place is great, the ambience is nice, the bar is cool. They serve New York style pizza which i didn’t know what it was.
So, I ordered the cheese pizza, so that nothing can come between the pizza and myself. It was a hugeeeeeeee pizza, as is apparent from my pictures. It was a thin crust one. The tomatoes felt good and the overall flavour was nice. I kinda liked it but it was too much for me to eat.
So yeah if you are reading this review to get a suggestion whether you should go here or no then Yes! you should definitely go. It would probably one of the nicer pizzas to would ever have.

Such an amazing experience always! We loved the igloo experience! The cocktails were amazing! Food is the most perfect NY pizza we have ever had in NC and Nora was the best waitress! Loved her! We can’t wait to come back!

Difara is a great spot to bring the family, hang with friends, or have a date. They have lots of sports playing on the TV’s, often have live bands, and the food is FANTASTIC! I recommend the square Sicilian pepperoni slice and a chocolate cake shot. Josh the bartender and the rest of the staff is top notch. Check this place out!

We’ve ordered from Pizza Cavern a few times already, and honestly — the quality is top-tier. Super flavorful, perfectly thin crust, and the ingredients are balanced just right. Nothing extra, nothing overloaded like some places do where you can’t even tell what you’re eating.
Yeah, sometimes you have to wait a bit because the place gets packed, it’s insanely popular — and it’s obvious why. They also do free delivery to tons of nearby spots, which is super convenient.
Highly recommend checking them out and enjoying their pizzas.

Taylor was amazing. We were only going to by slices of pizza but decided to stay longer because Taylor was so great. We ended the night with 3 pies and drinks. What a great way to end the week

I went here with my son. We looked up best pizza place in Cary, North Carolina and all the pizza is unique. It’s got a cool vibe to. It. Looks like it would probably be a lot of fun as a sports bar. We just wanted like a basic New York style piece of pizza. So I wouldn’t call it the best pizza unless you’re into those unique artisan type of pizzas. I mean it was good and the service was just OK. They didn’t ask if it was our first time here they just kind of like go sit down and we were trying to look at the pizza that they had in the glass case and they were like ghost could just go sit down and it was kind of rude, but You know I guess that’s the New York style of running a pizza place, but there was only two people in there they could’ve actually said hey is it your first time? Let me tell you a little bit about us. Let me tell you about some events. I just didn’t feel like this is a place. I’m on a frequent often if ever come back too. And they probably could’ve made us feel a lot more welcome and said oh you gotta try this. Oh this is our best seller you know stuff like that would’ve made the whole experience much better. So for that, I’m gonna kind of get rid of it pretty much across the board at three because again I know it’s not my cup of tea, but somebody else would probably really like it. I just think that as far as best carry pizza place I know I know this is a very subjective type of feel but when you’re just looking for a good slice of pizza, you don’t want something new and unique you want just pizza this ain’t that. Really cool though place I’m sure it’s pop it as a bar and Grill as a sports part.Today I was underwhelmed. I don’t know if I’ll ever be back and again it’s just one person’s opinion.

Our 5th time here and this time in an igloo. Taylor was our server and she’s amazing. Very authentic pizza (we’ve had all of their specials), garlic knots and meatballs. Menu is small but delicious. Also, the coconut margarita is on point. Delicious rainbow cookies to finish! Five stars

Amazing experience! The pizzas are HUGE. One is literally enough for our whole family with leftovers for lunch the next day, which is such good value when you think about it. Service was attentive without being overbearing, and the meatballs as an appetizer were perfect. We’re making this a monthly thing.

I read about the really long wait times in the reviews so we made sure to get there right at 5pm. It was basically empty and we got our order in right away so we felt really positive.
There was a steady stream of people coming in and pizza going out… And 53 minutes later we noticed most of the people who had arrived there after us had pizza.
We ask the waitress and she went to check. She told us our order had gotten bumped off the screen (?) but it was coming out now.
It was pretty good pizza, but the bill was over $100 for one pizza, two draft beers and a cocktail.
I don’t regret going, but I won’t be back.

Pizza snob here from New Jersey! I moved to Raleigh two months ago. Di Fara is now – without a doubt – my go to! Great crunch to the crust, and the fresh basil on top of my pepperoni slice is great addition. It will be worth the 11 mile drive from North Hills to get a taste of a REAL New York slice. Nice people, great space with lots of tables and huge tv’s, and outdoor space as well. Seems like a great place to watch a game and enjoy great pizza!
