You know a place is good when you are traveling and you ask for a food recommendation and a place comes with the highest remarks from the locals. Although our waiter was extremely friendly, knowledgeable and took great care of us, the best part was seeing the owner not only out in the dining room greeting tables, but also delivering food to the tables and at one point clearing and wiping down a table. You can tell he truly cares for his restaurant and is very hands-on. The food is definitely worth coming back for and overall we had a great experience.

I came for dinner with my colleague.
We are Italians and wanted to try this place.
Unfortunately the owner was not there.
Great experience overall.
Food was great, i had pasta and asked to make it aldente, and they did it! Almost.
The server was nice and paid a lot of attention without beeing too invasive, and that’s not guaranteed most of the time.
Atmosphere was nice, the location is clean and good looking.
All the staff was nice actually and very welcoming.
I recommend this place if you want to have a nice dinner date.
I would say it’s among the very small
Percentage of really good places.
Keep up the good work.

Absolutely amazing! We are visiting Waco from Lexington,NC and wanted to go to an Italian restaurant for our wedding anniversary. From not knowing much and just reading the menu we were excited! Little did we know the experience there was going to be amazing! The staff is so quick and helpful! The food was outstanding! My husband had the tenderloin and he said it was the most tender one he has ever had! I had the Gnocchi Sorletina and added shrimp completely amazing! Several times during and when we left Massimo came by and checked on us and thanked us for coming! If this place wasn’t 18 hrs away for us we would be regulars!

Amazing food. The marsala was and the meatball appetizer . Will definitely be back! The waitress was so prompt and pleasant. Her name was Leslie, thank you for a lovely experience. The three ladies at the host desk were also very sweet. We were checked on by a manager/owner. Great service!

DiCamli’s is one of our favorite restaurants in Waco. Started going there shortly after they opened. The owner, Massimo is from Rome. Love the fact it is a “scratch” kitchen. Almost everything is made in house. Great food & even better service. It can be a casual lunch/dinner or for a more formal dinner.
Ask for Diane or Ricky as your server and you won’t be disappointed!

Lovely Italian restaurant with fine dining service! The staff were excellent; they accommodated us even though we had no appointment on a busy day like Valentine’s Day. ❤️‍ They have a children’s menu . The food is delicious , however, the portion sizes are small. #Restaurant #Italy #Food #ValentineDay #Family

My husband and I have come here the last two of our wedding anniversaries. It is a wonderful place to get “fancy” without the fancy cost!
I ordered the Gnocchi Alla Bava. When it came out, i realized i had forgotten to ask for NO walnuts. I felt so bad, but they took it back immediately and had me a fresh plate in minutes. I am always impressed by the food here!

I started off with a glass of Pinot Grigio and a Caesar salad – the wine was nothing special, but the salad was good.

For my entree, I had the Mahi Mahi with lemon caper sauce – very tasty.

Unfortunately, my experience was completely spoiled when I got the bill and noticed that they charge a separate surcharge when paying by credit card – Credit card processing is simply a cost of doing business.

Because of this short-sighted policy, I am unlikely to return and I will recommend that others choose other options…

First time there and it is absolutely amazing. Excellent service and staff, exquisite food and delicious drinks. We were looking for an Italian restaurant more elevated than the chains (Olive Garden). The atmosphere is also very inviting and comfortable. Don’t sleep on this for a family meal or a date night.

BEST ITALIAN in Waco hands down, all of Massimo’s dishes are top notch, one of my favorites is the pasta al forno, it’s legit perfect. The red sauce is so good! Definitely one of my favorite red sauces I have ever had in my life!!!!There are dishes for everyone. Di Camplis also has brunch on Saturdays and is Amazing.
