This is a place that opened recently in 2025, so I decided to try.
I ordered a mildly spicy lamb wrap (£7) and starter of onion bhaji (£6). But you can choose how spicy you prefer your wrap. Although I cannot comment on a full restaurant service and atmosphere because I ordered take away, I could see the place was quiet and intimate with dimmed light; and the person was attentive and nice.
The wrap had lettuce, red pepper, carrot, crunchy cabbage and sauce. Although the lamb kofta was slightly dry, it was very flavoursome! The naan is freshly made every day.
The onion bhaji was a tiny bit too brown for my taste but nothing that changes the tastiness! The green (fresh) and the brown (sweet) sauces (I don’t recall the names) give a nice and refreshing contrast with the saltiness of the bhaji.
They had two meal deals one for the wraps (wrap+chips+drink) for less than £10 and hot meal (I think it was a main and rice with a drink) for £15.
Depending on the time and day, there might be plenty of car park spots or might be none (e.g. rugby game day). Payment required at certain times/days.

The samosa chaat was absolutely delicious, perfectly spiced with great texture. The lamb seekh kebab was juicy, flavorful, and cooked to perfection. Definitely worth trying!

Really enjoyed our meal at Dhoom! As a vegetarian, I was especially impressed with the paneer dishes — soft, flavourful, and clearly well prepared.
The veg Manchurian was also delicious, and the naan was perfectly made — soft with just the right amount of crisp. My family, who ordered a variety of chicken dishes, said everything was tasty and well-cooked.
Raj, the owner, was welcoming and genuinely keen to make sure we had a good evening, and Siri was very attentive throughout.
The restaurant is nicely situated in Twickenham, close to the river — perfect for a pre- or post-dinner walk. We’re already planning to come back with friends!

Food was delicious and reasonably priced. I had butter chicken and asked them to make it spicy, it was properly spicy but still creamy – perfect. Brother had Dhansak which he said was also delicious. We ordered several starters – chicken lollipops, chicken tikka dirty fries, lamb samosa and chilli chicken, all of which were perfectly cooked and full of flavour. Garlic naan was nice and fluffy, Roti was okay, not as good as Guyanese Roti but still nice. Saffron rice was also nice and fluffy, mixed with some fennel seeds so simple but very tasty. We had Gulab Jamun for dessert which was delicious (it’s always tasty so no surprise there) syrup was light and well flavoured, dough was soft and spongy, soaked up all of that lovely syrup. Plenty of vegetarian options on the menu (we’re not vege so didn’t order but lots there if you are). Lovely food, friendly staff and well priced so will definitely return. Also, they serve candies fennel seeds after the meal which I have never had before but was a very nice touch

Absolutely delicious food. One of the best Gobi manchurian we have tasted outside India. Ticking chat was very flavoursome and tasty. Every dish we tried was cooked to perfection and authentic north Indian food unlike some Bangladeshi restaurants who describe themselves as serving Indian food. Yovi the owner/manager was very attentive and provided amazing customer service. Highly recommended this gem of restaurant if you happen to be Twickenham. We will be back soon.

Whenever I come across a gem of a restuarant I have to share. Dhoom was a suprise. An authenticaly Punjabi (northern Indian) menu and flavours. They have only been open a few months now. Having visited numerous times and tried different dishes, from Vegetarian to Meats, each choice has been packed full of great flavours.
I higly recommend the Chicken Tikka starter, wow!
In the pictures you will seen the Lamb Keema (mince curry), Tarka Dhaal, Chilli Paneer and mixed grill.
For me authenticity comes from dishes that taste homemade. And the test for me is always the Dhaal. Dhoom’s Dhaal is 100% and if you like your dishes spicy ask them to ramp it up as most dishes are of the mild to medium spice level. And try and leave room for their homemade desserts (not those commercial frozen stuff you see at other restuarants).
The owners Jovi and Ruby are lovely and very humble. They try their hardest to deliver a consistenly good offer. And Siri (our waitress) always delivers service with a smile and friendly manner. Even the Chef greeted us at our last visit.
At the weekends they offer lunch menus which we have yet to try, especially the chicken or lamb kebab rolls.
We look forward to our next visit where we will continue to try the other dishes on offer.
So please do not let small authentic businesses like this go unoticed. They deserve to survive in these difficult times, especially the good ones. Give them a try if you’re local. I know they will become your go to.

We ordered through deliveroo, the order was around 20 mins late when I decided to call them and see where it is. They told me that they had a gas problem and it hadn’t even been picked up by the driver yet. I feel this could have been communicated to us either shortly after placing the order or or put a message on deliveroo explaining you have an issue. Based on the lack of consideration and communication I would not order from here again

My son and i ate hear for the first time this evening and can thoroughly recommend the place! There was a warm welcome, a great choice of dishes on the menu, a lovely pint of cobra and the bill was very reasonable! Dhoom deserves all the 5 star ratings here on google and we will definitely be back. And also order via takeaway!
