We came in on a rainy Friday night and were greeted by friendly and welcoming staff. They recommended their favorites, like the Goan Shrimp curry, which was flavorful and robust! I was impressed by the presentation, the vibrant colors and flavors, and the attentiveness. It was my birthday and the staff surprised us with dessert on the house! I hope that you try this restaurant soon!! A delicious, hearty, hidden gem!

Dharma is a fantastic spot for authentic Indian food with a thoughtful, modern twist. It’s a newer place, but you can immediately tell how much care and intention went into every detail—from the stunning, welcoming mural at the entrance to the tasteful decor, relaxed ambience, and genuinely attentive service.
The menu strikes a great balance between tradition and fusion, and it works. My standout favorite is the Thelewali Chaat—light, fresh, vibrant, and packed with flavor. It’s the kind of appetizer that makes you slow down and actually enjoy every bite.
As someone who pays close attention to restaurants that do things right, Dharma really stands out. Consistent quality, great energy, and food that feels both comforting and exciting. Easily the best option in the area and a place I’ll keep coming back to.

Had a great experience at Dharma Indian Bistro. The Delhi ki Kachori was crisp and flavorful, and the Lahori Seekh Kabab was juicy with a nice smoky char. The Corn Cheese Jalapeño Rolls were perfectly cheesy with just the right kick. Everything tasted fresh and well made. Definitely ordering again.

We ordered 3 curries: chicken tikka masala, which was awesome, and coconut shrimp curry, and one other chicken curry. They were all good, and we also got house-made mint sauce, which goes well with chicken! We all love that sauce.
We ordered with medium spice, but it wasn’t spicy, so next time I will definitely try a bit more spicy version.
5 people got super full with 2 apps, 3 curries, and naans. Highly recommend going here! It has good food with good interiors and a spacious restaurant.

Everything here is just so well done! Rich, comforting curries, perfectly spiced (never heavy or greasy), fluffy fresh naan, and rice that actually tastes like something. The biryani is incredible, with that little crunch mixed in that makes each bite exciting, and the chaat is wonderfully fresh, and perfectly balanced.
The vibe is warm and relaxed, great for a casual dinner or an easy date night, and the service is genuinely kind and very thoughtful.
Dharma is a restaurant we keep coming back to! Worth the trip even if you’re not on Edgewater!

Just dined here tonight and the food was sooo delicious! The atmosphere was casual and comfy, bringing a homey feel. We ordered some curries (the lamb curry’s meat was sooo delicious and tender that it fell off the bone!), naan, and chicken wings. Everything was seasoned well at a low spice level. The ice cream is veryyy perfumed tasting as a heads up~ The staff was super attentive and we thank them for a great first time visit! Would definitely visit again ☺️

Menu is well thought out and a lot of options to choose from. Everything we tried was really good. Cauliflower soup and friums were a great start for the meal. Tried mushroom appetizer and corn and cheese balls from chefs curated menu. Both were really good. Koya kaju masala with onion kulcha was perfect. Wait staff were really attentive. Will come again to try the really long menu.

We had the most incredible meal at this Indian restaurant — everything was over the roof! We ordered the chicken curry, chicken biryani, lamb biryani, fish curry, and both the mango and coconut lassi — every single dish was bursting with authentic flavor, perfectly spiced, and beautifully prepared.
The portions were generous, the presentation was lovely, and the service was warm and welcoming. Each bite reminded us why real Indian cuisine is truly an art form. The lassis were the perfect finishing touch — refreshing, creamy, and delicious.
We can’t wait to come back and try more from their menu. Highly recommend — this place is a gem!
