Wow, we’ve been travelling South America for a few weeks now and were really craving some home/Indian food (we’re Indians from London) – dhaasu was everything I hoped for it to be, and I’m a picky eater with Indian food! I have tried many places in India, London and Leicester (big Indian community in the uk) – and it definitely lived up to expectations. Perfect spice level, buttery, delicious butter chicken, soft yet crispy garlic naan, and big veggie samosas with a really tasty amli sauce. Don’t give this a miss!!

One of the few Indian restaurant in Lima. I have tried many things here and I can say that the food is really good. They offer meal combo which is very good wrt to price and its filling.
Best thing about the place is their masala chai.
I had a chance to speak with the owner as well and got to know that they make their masala by themselves from the raw ingredients. They have very friendly staff.

It’s a bit ironic that this restaurant advertises itself as the first street food concept in Peru AND latin america when the prices say otherwise. We ordered tandoori chicken which was perfectly charred and came with a side of the tiniest slivers of naan and butter chicken which had about 4 pieces of chicken in a sickeningly sweet curry and a small side of basmati rice. The portions are very small so it wasn’t the best idea to split the dishes between two people. The raita was good and so was the chutney but they only gave one slice of lime for the tandoori and the food is unfortunately subpar for the prices they’ve set. You need to use your phone’s flashlight to see the menu if you go there at night because the lighting is so dim. The restaurant is quite small and looks like a fast food joint. But the staff is very attentive and friendly and went out of their way to make us feel welcome.

Absolutely amazing masala chai, rich, high-quality flavor and truly addictive. I drink it every day and it’s outstanding. The dal was delicious, the butter chicken was excellent, but my real favorite is definitely the masala chai. Everything I tried was extremely flavorful, with a clear focus on quality ingredients and taste. Portions are a bit small for the price, but the quality makes up for it. Highly recommended. I will definitely be back.

Very good tasting Indian food. Curries and Naan bread are amazing! Very friendly staff and fast service. Highly recommend this place for good quality Indian food.
Only downside was we found it to be a little expensive for what it is. 104 soles for two chicken curries, one garlic naan and no drinks.

Great place to try Indian food as a beginner. Good services and good atmosphere. However, if you have tried Indian food in other locations such as US, London, or India itself you might feel they could add a little more spices and cream to the curries. But not bad, it was just a feeling. Also, I would suggest if you guys can import some Indian beer like Kingfisher and/or if you could play more Indian music instead of Peruvian / Latin music as another review suggested.

It was a nice experience eating here. The restaurant looks nice, and the plates and accessories match the theme. I like the open kitchen style. We ordered several plates, and the dishes arrived quickly. The garlic naan was really delicious, as well as the basmati rice. The butter chicken and the chicken masala tasted good, but they didn’t remind us of the authentic taste that we experienced at another location in Lima. They were still delicious, just not what we expected. The vegetarian dishes with cheese were also good. The service was kind and fast, however, they told us 5 minutes before closing that they would be closing in 5 minutes. It would have been a more pleasant experience if they had told us when we ordered that they would be closing in xx minutes so that we didn’t have to rush at the end.

Portion-wise, the combo was generous enough for two; we left completely full, especially after the included dessert.

The place has hippy vibes with dim lit ambiance. I went for Mango Lassi and a couple of combos which had paneer tikka masala, daal makhni, naan and rice. Lassi was nice and not overly sweet. The curries were slightly spicier but you can ask to tone it down if you want. But I liked the taste of it. Seatings were a little congested and prices are on slightly higher side. It can cost 120-150 Soles for 2 persons for a meal here.

We were on lima to start our 2 weeks tour across Peru . We are so happy we tried the food at this place . It is a dhaba style , so don’t expect much about seating or table service .. food is great though . We ordered veg combo , which came with an appetizer, 2 Curies , naan , desert.. all are very tasty . We also tried the vada pav( not sure what it was called on the menu ), but it tasted really good .
You can see the chefs cooking in front of you, they are keeping the place hygiene and fast at service .
The place the restaurant is located is bit shady though . Overall , it was very good experience with good though
