The noodles are absolutely authentic, the broth used bought out the flavors of the dishes. The BBQ lamb stick is too lean (opportunity to improve, or have the customer to select fatty or lean lamb meats).

First time having the Brown Sugar Glutinous Rice was yummy. Soft chewy sticky rice in a dark brown sugar sauce topped with crushed peanuts. Sauce tasted like molasses. It looked like it would be very sweet but was just perfect.
The Signature Lanzhou Beef Noodle Soup was also good with light broth. It had spicy chili oil for the mild spicy flavor and tender slices of beef.
The Lamb Kabobs were more chewy than soft but still good, not too spicy.
Skip the crinkle fries.
Scallion Pancake with Slice Beef was also yummy. They spread a sweet sauce in the pancake layers.
Good value. Nice staff. Food took about 10 minutes to come out from the kitchen.

The menu offers a great selection of noodles, grilled items, and regional specialties. Every dish we’ve tried—from hand-pulled noodles to perfectly seasoned lamb skewers—has been consistently delicious. The portions are very generous; 3 dishes here easily covers both lunch and dinner for the two of us. Spending $50-$60 for such amazing food with large portions is truly a great deal in the Bay Area.

A buddy of mine suggested we give DH Noodles and Grill a try and I am glad we did. From the first bite, this place did not disappoint. The noodles were perfectly cooked, flavorful, and had just the right balance of texture and seasoning.
What really stood out, though, were the lamb skewers. I am usually cautious with lamb because of the gamy taste, but DH nailed it—juicy, tender, and packed with flavor, without any overpowering aftertaste. You can tell they know how to marinate and grill properly.
Service was friendly and quick, and the whole place had a welcoming vibe. If you are in the mood for great noodles and quality grilled meats, this spot is definitely worth checking out!

The Lanzhou noodle soup here is outstanding – after trying three different stores, this one stands out as the best. The roasted lamb leg impressed with its tender interior, though it was a tad too seasoned and firm on the outside. Nonetheless, the tenderness outweighs this minor flaw, warranting a five-star rating. The beef roll was good, but unremarkable. Kindly noted that portion sizes are relatively smaller compared to other Lanzhou noodle restaurants.

This is a special review, and I’d like to highlight one of the employees, Mr. Gao. We visited the Cupertino location, and my dad accidentally left his bag there (with his phone and water bottle inside). When I called the restaurant, I mistakenly reached the Milpitas location.
Even though Mr. Gao doesn’t work at that location, he went above and beyond to help us. He personally contacted the Cupertino store, reassured me, and explained that they have security cameras, so they would be able to locate the bag. His calm, thorough, and responsible approach meant a lot to us during a stressful moment.
We already love the food at DH Noodle, but this experience really showed the integrity and sense of ownership your staff has—qualities that matter deeply to us. Huge shout-out to Mr. Gao, as well as the Cupertino team. Thank you for the outstanding service.

Fairly decent noodles and soup broth taste! can choose from a variety of thicknesses for the noodles. Price is fair for the portions. Seating was quick, and food came fast. Waiters attentively gave us new napkins as we needed.
