Came to visit family in Maryland. We went shopping in Berkeley Springs and I wanted a club sandwich. Looked up local food and found this gem of place! Burgers were phenomenal!!! The shakes were outstanding! We got the Oscar, which came with a fried egg, the build your own, a chicken wrap and we ordered one to go, the Johnny Electric, which we heard was great! We got to play pool and listen to music while we waited – super cool place! This will officially be a stop for each trip we take out here. Highly recommend Dexter’s!

Very cool little diner, ice cream shop, and for the locals, it may be a hang out. The food was very good, everything that I had, and my family had eaten was definitely delicious and the staff were so very kind to me and the children. They had a good variety of ice cream, which was surprisingly good. There is a pool table that is free to play, a claw machine, and an ATM. This is a cool little place hidden in a small town. Must stop in and try if you are passing through.

I only wish the burger was WELL DONE as I asked, I like it almost charred. BUT…I really enjoyed my early dinner here nonetheless. I was the only one dining as I like to avoid the crowds and eat early like I’m 50 years older than I really am or something. I had a nice conversation with the owner and, subsequently, his wife later on. I deliberately drove 45 minutes to eat here. The ambiance was pleasant and clean, not at all like the BBQ place (Earth Dog Café) that was previously at this location. You order up front and then they bring your meal to you. I had a pretty big salad before my burger came out along with home cut fries and an ice tea. The fries were not my favorite. But the burger was so large and delicious, I had trouble finishing it. I asked the owner on my way out how much ground beef they use and he said about 1/2lb. No wonder. All this to say, don’t forget to check out Dexter’s on your way through. I will be driving 45 minutes again soon just to enjoy it again.

Unfortunately a bit mediocre. Food was bland, everything under seasoned… burger tasted like the grill was dirty. Steak sub was generic, edible but nothing special. Got 7 onion rings for $4… chopping skills need work.. bought overpriced Mozzarella sticks- had to ask for marinara, whicj they brought, cold… You have to order then sit and they bring food then leave you alone.. Cute space with a lot of potential, but not there yet. Prices were ok but would say still not quite worth it. Drove 45min to check it out and was disappointed. Only a couple parking spaces in front, then rest in back- which is down the hill and the parking lot is a dump of old kitchen appliances and such that seem to be apart of some kitchen auction place.. oh, and seems like they don’t have a properly working AC, lots of fans on and front door open- it was ok, but a little warm..

This place was exactly what I needed it to be after hiking. The food was fantastic and reasonably priced, the staff was friendly and helpful, and being able to pick the music on the digital jukebox was a fun novelty. I got the burger with jalapeno poppers, pepperjack, and homemade pepper jelly, which was fantastic. Highly recommend.

This place is a fairly new place, but the food was way better than I expected. My wife got the mushroom Swiss burger and I got the black and blue burger. These were extremely juicy and thick and were properly cooked. Definitely recommend if you’re going through the area!!

I was gonna wait a while for things to calm down being they just opened today, but I just couldn’t help myself! Showed up 20 minutes after they announced they’re finally open! I originally ordered a cheese pizza for my daughters but I stole a piece as soon as I got back in my van Then my oldest snatched a piece before I could take a nice picture of it. The pizza is so fluffy yet crispy and the cheese, the cheese is to die for literally a perfect pizza! I also got myself a Rueben, and that thing was worth the wait and definitely worth more than $6.50! Their menu is huge (almost overwhelming), prices are great, and most importantly- the employees are insanely sweet and make you feel like family! I’ll definitely keep coming back…weekly if I’m not careful

Easy to find! The service was prompt and very friendly. The food was awesome, but be prepared to take some home! Huge portions!! The atmosphere is very casual, which is fine, but seemed geared more to teenagers. Still, enjoyed my food and experience! Would definitely go back another vacation!

I was a little disappointed that we didn’t get crinkle fries as they are my favorite and I asked for them, and got something else. The fountain soda machine had a sign that it was out of order, but they had bottled soda and gave us cups of ice which was nice. The burgers were really good. Delicious even. The building was nice and spacious and seemed pretty clean. Looks like it is probably owned by a family and they were super nice and friendly. I would definitely reccomend.

I purchased gift certificates for Dexter’s. Stopped in yesterday for a late lunch. I ordered the Jonny Electric burger and Wow it was so good!! My burger was larger than I expected and very juicy. It was served with fries all for $12.50! I will definitely be returning here soon.
