We drove into town for a wedding (from Alabama) and needed a good spot to eat. We took a chance on Dexter BBQ, but as they say, “with high risk comes high reward.” We were greeted by a nice host ready to take our order. And we were overwhelmed by the huge portion size for a very reasonable price. The pork steak was incredible with the caramelized rub on it. And all the sauces were great additions to our excellent meals. Great job and keep up the great work!

How far they have fallen. Order not right. I said I did not want hot sauce. What did I get—Louisiana red hot sauce! Nothing but fat on the brisket. Deli style smoked thin turkey that I would never buy—wrapped folded over in plastic wrap! Could not even get a tiny container of bbq sauce for a pound of pulled pork, a pound of brisket, three pork steaks, a pound of turkey! Oh, no, I would have to pay for any bbq sauce! Whoever sliced the brisket obviously did not know what they were doing. Sliced with the grain instead of against so it was a stringy mess! So many other issues—-management hangs up on you and corporate never returns phone call. No wonder there are no cars in parking lot at dinner time! Dreadful

Staff were really friendly. The fries came overly salty, but they exchanged them for me at no extra cost. Free soft serve after meal, was a huge plus. The ribs were alot better than the brisket.

I went through the drive thru, the girl that took my order was very pleasant. She accommodated me when I ask her to hold the
tomatoes on my salad and add pickles. The salad was good and the flavor of the smoked turkey was amazing, but they didn’t give me much turkey at all! In my opinion it was not worth over $13.

I ordered through the drive thru. I ordered 2 pork steak plates. I got home and had the wrong order. I received 2 pulled pork plates. I called them and then drove back to get the correct order. Only to receive 2 of most burnt dry pieces of pork steak in the history of pork steak. This will definitely be my last experience at this location.

Oh man where to begin ..lol…Dexter bbq,in Jackson mo is our favorite place to stop and grab a quick bite. It’s relatively cheap and just oh so good…we travel from perryville just to get a bite to eat here. ….the fried corn on the cob is a must try for anyone visiting Dexter bbq…we love it and we will revisit this location as often as we can afford to,every chance we get,thanks Dexter bbq for your services..we do appreciate it
