The experience was pretty good but the food slightly lacked quality. There was salad, burgers, pizza, and many drinks. The staff was excellent and helped us find where to put the plates.

Stopped after a tour of Tufts for a late lunch. Great selection of fresh and well prepared foods. Everyone got several things they enjoyed. Great deal for dining if you are on campus visiting. Lots of choices for people with food allergies and many vegan options. Unlimited whipped cream.

Outstanding all around! Best university cafeteria that I have been to in terms of service, variety and overall food taste and quality! Well done!

The lady sitting on the main front desk (where you swipe your card) is so arrogant (and racist probably since I am a Muslim with a beard and came in with my sister who wears hijab). I came in with my sister and asked her that I will be using 2 meal swipes. I let my sister enter, and then my second meal swipe didn’t work (because apparently there is a 5 minute waiting time). The lady stared at me with such a weird and arrogant expression. Can’t forget the look on her face. She looked as if I did something wrong or broke the law. I asked her politely that I have enough meal swipes in the card, but She kept saying that I don’t know it is all in front of you. I had to ask the other lady and she was kind enough to let me know that there is a 5 minute waiting time.

This is the downhill dining hall on the Tufts University campus. It’s slightly larger than Carmichael Dining Hall, and probably has slightly more variety. Seating is a little harder to get, as it gets really crowded during the lunch and dinner rushes, and it’s best to come with a group of friends (better to go to Carmichael if you plan on sitting alone). Atmosphere is pretty loud. Workers are friendly. Food ranges from average to pretty great.

Great food for a dining service, very consistent, with good options for all diets. There is a special room available for persons with allergies, and various gluten free options. Ice cream machines are usually in operation, as well as a selection of fruits in the morning and cereals all day. The day is divided into breakfast, lunch, and dinner periods. Dinner always includes meat and pizza options, make your own salad and sandwich, as well as an entire vegetarian section and many general options. Most important thing to know is it’s better than Carmichael: way more variety and quality.

The features of the actual dining hall is quite nice. But as my advisor told me, the food is mid. It’s the same food everyday and the meat is usually overcooked and quite tough. It feels like a McDonalds because the ice-cream machine is broken and it always has French fries. At least there is a chocolate milk fountain!

Best dining hall on the Tufts campus, though Carm occasionally pulls through with specialty offerings. Would highly recommend checking the menu beforehand to ensure you know exactly what you’re getting.

But most importantly, the food tastes good and there are plenty of choices for the health-conscious, vegan, gluten-free, and so forth.

I LOVE their seafood! Also theme nights are a must, especially Hanukkah and Thanksgiving! Would definitely recommend the pizza and their music is excellent. Don’t forget about sundae sunday or is it sunday sundae?
