We ordered 2 pizzas (one made half and half to please the kids) and a calzone for a family of four and it was amazing and filling enough to send us home with leftovers. The food came quickly and tasted greats, Service was exceptional, Environment was clean and well kept. Was a llittle bit of a wait because it wad a busy night, but was worth it. Definitely recommend trying Deweys Pizza out for yourself!

Dewey’s in Lakewood is one of those places that just works. I come here a lot with my son, and it’s become one of our favorite pizza spots in the area. It’s not trying to be over-the-top or trendy. It’s just good.
The menu is straightforward, which I appreciate. You’re not flipping through pages trying to figure out what to order. The salads are always fresh, and they usually have a rotating pizza special, which is worth checking out on their website. Today I kept it simple with a pepperoni, and it hit the spot. No complaints.
They also have solid gluten-free options and even plant-based cheese, which is nice if you’re coming in with dietary restrictions. On top of that, the beer list is better than you’d expect for a pizza place, good mix of local and national craft brews that pair well with whatever you’re eating.
The atmosphere is great. Music’s always playing, the staff is friendly, and it’s the kind of place where you feel comfortable the second you walk in. That matters to me. I like going to restaurants where you feel welcome, not like you’re bothering someone by showing up.
Dewey’s gets it right. Great food, fair prices, good people. That’s all I’m looking for.

I’m surprised I haven’t written a review yet! This place is absolutely amazing. We went Feb. 7 around 3pm for our autistic son’s 3rd annual pizza party for his 16th birthday! I first tried Dewey’s in 2024 because I heard they had gluten AND dairy free pizza, which is hard to find for my son since he is on a gluten- and dairy-free diet.
Each time we’ve gone, the staff has been extremely accommodating, friendly, and helpful. I feel they truly went above and beyond this last visit. Not every business is this helpful and friendly towards autistic children (in my experience). My son’s friend, who is also autistic, went to grab his own drink without realizing that the waiters are the ones who grab the drinks. I explained he was autistic and didn’t know, and instead of getting upset, the staff was very understanding, as his dad tried to get him out of the drink area. Lol.
My son loves Dewey’s Pizza, so much so that it has become tradition to visit on his birthday. I have no complaints (except that the pizza crust is too thin for my liking, but the pizza itself is soo good!). Love the pizza, salads, staff, atmosphere, and the big window that allows kids to watch the pizza being made. They even gave my son a birthday glass, which made me emotional because the gesture was so thoughtful! Looking forward to our next celebration.

Dewey’s Pizza – LAKEWOOD, serves up a best slice. The pizza itself had a great balance of flavours, and the crust was perfectly crispy. I recently visited and had the absolute pleasure of having Noah as a server! I’ve heard wonderful things about the food, but the service exceeded that. Noah was attentive, polite and a ray of sunshine after a horrible week! I will be back next week and hope to have him as a server again Saturday! Great job on the staff choice, Deweys!

From the entrance until the farewell, their guest assistance and hospitality was warm and welcoming. The family style service provided makes it impossible to credit any one server—EVERYONE is committed to your satisfaction. Their dedication to fulfillment is eye watering. They refilled my soda after every sip and they even fed me slices as my hands were occupied typing this review. Good pie is just the cherry. Excellent execution Dewey. Your family is another home 🙂

We came for dinner tonight and while we couldn’t catch many names, the crew that was on tonight (10/10) including management, was fantastic. We overheard them say they were down a server tonight and had a 15 top coming in and everything was just running so smoothly and efficiently (at least to us). We sat at the bar and just watched in awe as everyone worked their butts off and provided great service, from us sitting at the bar, to the dine in customers, to the carry out orders. The food was delicious and the beer was great but we were just in awe of how well of a ship they were running on a Friday night! We will definitely be coming back but just wanted to make sure tonight’s crew got a shoutout for their hard work!
