They have a small spot with a little seating. A front bar seating area in the window. A couple of small tables, and a couch in the back of a cozy seating area with a few board games.
They also adjoin to the business next door, a shuffleboard rental court of all things with a bar and some additional seating if they have room.
The crusts are hand tossed, almost but not quite as thin as a New York style. Pleasantly chewy with maybe just a little crunch. Fired in small gas ovens behind the counter. They came out just right with a slight bit of charring while staying a little chewy.
We ordered a Vegan Bae, the ground mushroom sauce with balsamic overtones was unique and pretty tasty. A bit mushroomy, but subtly so. The blistered tomatoes and squash made for a nice combination of flavors and something a bit out of the ordinary.
The SO also ordered the Vegan Pepperoni, the pepperoni itself was mild and not unpleasant. The cheese was melty, but tasted like they were using Daiya or something with a less than great flavor. (Violife, Follow Your Heart, and Chao all taste better if they look for alternatives or you want some context.)
The portions are a bit small, but probably enough to be content if you aren’t too hungry.
All in all, pretty good pizza and worth trying if you are in the area.
Right off the new 31st street streetcar stop in Martini Corner. Highly recommend this pizza spot for taking it easy with friends and family.
