Ordered their happy hour combo of 2 Chicago hot dogs and small fries for 7$ which is a great value for money deal. The Chicago dogs were wonderfully overloaded with condiments just as you’d expect. The pickle and relish were especially good. The sausage itself was a bit underwhelming but the amazing condiments made sure the hotdog served as a filling and tasty meal.
Maybe it was because the order had been waiting for a while but the fries were soggy and a bit too salty for my liking. I honestly would just skip the fries next time.

Singlehandedly the #1 happy hour in Evanston. Period. 50% off beers and seltzers? And they’ve got some good craft, including Sketchbook.
Very affordable dogs, fresh chicken tenders and burgers. We came at 4pm and were worried that things wouldn’t come fresh and they did. Everything was hot and delicious.
Just wish the fries were double-fried or fried at a higher temp. They were too soggy.

I ordered a Bogo hotdog on Uber eats. When I got to the restaurant, they claimed that the item was listed incorrectly on Uber and to reach out To Uber for support. Uber claims that the name of the item is actually called Bogo hotdog and is not actually a buy one get one type of deal. That’s just the name of the item listed. Furthermore, I asked for a hot dog with everything but tomatoes and sport pepper. Not even that was correct. Very simple order and issue that cost a local to stay away from this establishment.

I am obsessed with Devil Dawgs and come regularly. Orders are placed on touchscreens in the restaurant (or order on your phone before you come and your food will be ready and waiting!) which makes it super easy to customize your order precisely to the toppings you would like. Every time, I order the fully loaded vegan Chicago dog which comes with sport peppers, pickle spear, green relish, onions, mustard, tomato, and celery salt. It’s a flavor explosion!
They currently have a daily happy hour special which gets me my Chicago dog for just $4!
Also, don’t miss their French fries. They are perfection!
There is plenty of seating indoors and some outdoor seating too and we love the fun decor of the place.

Just visited Devil Dawgs newest shop in Evanston and we had an absolute blast. Awesome energy, great music, and a vibrant space with a street art vibe. The place was buzzing and busy but our wait was quick and food came out fast and hot. Super friendly, attentive staff and it’s very clean both inside and out.
We wanted to try the entire menu but “settled” on two dogs (Chicago and a coney), two sliders (Elvis?!?!), chicken fingers, cheese fries and a peanut butter banana milkshake! Oh yeah, they also have beer from local breweries like 3 Floyds and Revolution. Zombie Dust tallboys, anyone?
Really welcome addition to the block and we’ll be back ASAP to try the rest of the menu!

after waiting forever, the devil dogs in downtown Evanston is open! it is extremely spacious with superb decor. I’m happy to see that they still have great deals as usual, especially at happy hour you can get a solid $5 hot dog with a bit of fries, and the fries are some of the best I’ve had in my life. definitely making this a regular stop.

Great addition to downtown Evanston. Took my kids after Skyzone and we loved it so much. The burgers were perfect. Fries and tots were great. The slider size with the ability to have a single, double or triple was great for kuds and adults. Fun decor, bright and great view of tge church/ Mapke intersection. A really goid value as well. spent $40 for 4 people.

Honestly one of Chicago’s better institutions when it comes to hot dogs. Devil Dawgs in Evanston does not disappoint. The food is what you expect but however the consistency is amazing. Staff really care about what they’re doing and honestly just great friendly environment.
