I love supporting my ppl so as a word of advice we have to go crazy with herbs and vegetables such as onions and peppers if your not going to be using salt. I got oxtail with red beans and rice, and mac & cheese, deviled eggs and keylime cake. And my friend got the catfish,yams, and greens. With deviled eggs and caramel cake. The oxtail was swimming in oil or grease. The mac & cheese was too but you know cheese is greasy. Everything was very bland EXCEPT for the YAMS. Red beans and rice was aright. Deviled eggs had a lil sweet taste then blan egg taste. The cakes were very dry please find another distributor. All that was over 100 plus tip.

This is the worst!!! I get it, food has went up so I get the prices. But if you were going to charge a dollar extra for a premium side, macaroni and cheese and collard greens, can it come with some season with some cheese. Today I ordered the fried pork chops yams and dressing then I ordered the catfish green and macaroni and cheese that I had to pay a dollar extra for the yam the macaroni and cheese and the greens. The pork chops were dark dry no season look like they’ve been good you know how you fry pork chop chops at home and you take them out to you know leftovers from the day before that’s how I feel like what these pork chops are the catfish the same thing if you are in these fast food restaurant, please change your grease that you’re frying the food in I am so peed off right now $48 was my total for two plates. It’s really time to stop eating out.

I’m so disappointed. I had 2 dinners with 2 extra sides for $78 and there’s a dollar up charge for mac&cheese and yams. How is it a up charge for sides at a soulfood restaurant. The mac and cheese was horrible. The noodles was burnt and hard. It was made with some big long noodle and so greasy the cheese was separate from the noodle. It was unedible. Oxtails had flavor but greasy as well. Greens no flavor. Catfish was soft. I think the best thing was the Yams. I threw $78 in the trash. Never going back.

Customer service was Great I wanted to love this restaurant but I didn’t enjoy it I ordered 2 meals spent like $50 plus a tip ! I ordered the pepper steak with 2 sides Mac and yams the peppers would’ve been a win but it was super salty the Mac and cheese was really dry ! The other meal I ordered for my Husband was the cat fish dinner with red beans with rice and Mac and cheese with an additional side of greens the cat fish wasn’t crispy I the red beans with rice was bland , the greens was bland I just didn’t have a good experience ! I Love supporting my people but I don’t like to waste my money soul food is cooking with love and caring about it tasting delicious….

This was thee worst food ever like for real not even edible and it’s like dog food I tried to give it the benefit of the doubt and yeah selling it like it’s good I knew it was gonna be nasty when I pulled up to an empty parking lot I got the pepper steak with greens and dressing the greens were almost ok the dressing tastes old and sweet the pepperb steam was not done it tastes raw and bland my aunt order oxtails mac and cabbage she was so pissed 50 plus dollars gone my sister had meatloaf that ish taste like dirt literally not edible the Mac was hard and over cooked the sweet corn was good that’s it 0 out of 10 worst no food EVER!!!!!!
