This place is a hidden gem in Jeffco! I’ve been in jefferson county my whole life. The one thing that I’m really passionate about is food! I love to find places that serve quality food and afford a great dining experience. It’s a bar and grill. It’s not white tablecloth dining experience but the food will catch you off guard.i ordered the “Pork Ribeye” …suggested by the owner, Terry. I got that and the Ruben sandwich with garlic mashed potatoes and white pasta.
I never eat out anymore. When I do I spend the money and go to the fine dining establishments and a few go to places that I’m confident in their cooking.
When I do venture out and try a place, I’m usually disappointed and mad that I spent the money on inferior food compared to what I cook at home.
No bullshit. Thus is one of the best porkchops, (pork ribeye) I’ve ever eaten. The garlic steak butter is on point and my father mowed that Rueben down! 6 stars on the whole experience! Great staff, very attentive, cute bartender. The meal, that I got to go and RE-HEATED was in line with the more fine dining experience! I’m a food connoisseur and that my friend is some good cooking! No bullshit! If you haven’t heard about Detours bar and grill, you need to Google it and get there. They have a bar area, a dining room and even a indoor outdoor area.

It took forever just to order my drinks even though the place was empty. I eventually was able to order my sandwich I chose a hot ham and cheese it came out room temperature french fries also cold. I assume the rest of these reviews are from the handful of people who work here. Definitely sad I made the 25 minute trip to try out somewhere new. Definitely wouldn’t recommend to a friend. I think the gas station up the street is a better option if you’re just passing through.

Went here on a recommendation. Did not disappoint. Hubby had the detour burger. He really enjoyed it, especially since it was flame broiled. I had the roast beef on garlic cheese bread. It was no Gioia’s but it was still good. We got the fries, which werr shoe string, hubs not a fan because he likes thicker fries but stil ate them! Ahaah they had a good seasoning on them. I liked them. Staff friendly such a nice place. Definitely will ho back if in that area.

This place is awesome. Been here multiple times and the service is always great. And the food is fantastic. No matter how many people I have with me. I can come in with 2 people or 20 and it’s always a great experience. Hands down my family’s favorite place to eat.

I had the Steak Sandwich and it was delicious! Wifey ordered a Caesar Salad and the the Spicy Chicken Sandwich, fried not grilled. She said it was delicious! I highly recommend this place.

This is our go to neighborhood bar and grill. The service is fast and attentive, nice space, doesn’t feel crowded even when it is. The patio area is really nice and affordable. I have hosted several events here and will continue to do so in the future!!!

Great find while we were driving through. Got some great recommendations from the bartender Penny for area things to see and visit. Had really cool regulars and felt right at home. The food was great and overall I wish I had someplace like this closer to my home. My wife and I both said we wish we could bottle up Penny and take her to our bar back home because she was fantastic! We will back the next time we’re driving through!

My Buffalo chicken sandwich was pretty good. My boyfriend had the fish and liked it as well. All was good until we got home with my son’s to go order of boneless teriyaki wings. They hardly had any sauce at all. They were so dry and overcooked he could only eat about three of them. Pretty disappointing.
We went back last night and our food was just okay. We were served probably the worst tater tots I’ve ever seen in my life. I even asked for them to be extra crispy and they came out completely soggy with grease. Not sure how they felt good about serving something like that.
Went back a third time and it will be the last. My husband’s food was cold and the workers were not very nice.
