I came from San Diego to try the Ox Tails. They were super rock hard and not even edible. I complained to the manager and
they offered me a replacement meal. A couple of months later I returned to get the replacement meal and was unfortunately very underwhelmed.. the Ox Tails were very salty in my opinion and the food was just not fresh. There were still hard chewy parts in the meat.
The service was really good though.
If you catch the Ox Tails fresh off the smoker I bet they are probably delicious.

This is my honest review and MY OWN OPINION Service was amazing as always! The food is always so good but today was a bit different, I ordered tacos brisket and pork belly the brisket was great BUT the pork belly was a different story… i usually love the pork belly tacos but today they were extremely hard and tasted so bad even my son spit it out and said yuck. Not sure if I just happened to get the really really dry burnt pork belly tacos or something but next time I will definitely be checking my food before heading home but overall I will always suggest this place to family and friends

Excellent work! Black diamonds are next level. Pastrami is excellent & the ribs are picture perfect. We ate everything it was so delicious , the staff is super friendly & knowledgeable, the owner Nick is a very nice guy who is a master of his craft. bbq heaven, the restaurant is a old school building by looks of it, you get amazing food and a little taste if history. Stop by say hi!

ALL ABOARD!! Everyone should be on board to taste, the most tender, mouth watering oxtails ever. I ain’t ever had oxtails as good as these. Everything on the menu look delicious. The service from cashier to cook to host was great. The brisket and cheddar sandwich was also off the rails!!! Thank you!!!

I had been following them on IG for a while. After drooling over my phone one to many times, I loaded the family up and we made a drive!
My wife said that it was the best BBQ she’s ever had! She’s not one to hand out compliments like that, especially since we took a long long drive to go check this place out.
We ordered the Dino rib, Oxtail, brisket, tacos and a few cookies. Man! It was so so good!
I’ve never had Oxtail before, but I had to try out their black diamonds!
Everything else was amazing!
I can’t wait to head back out in the future!

This place was nothing short of terrible. Dropped $40 on oxtail and brisket, and BOTH were terrible! Oxtail was definitely reheated over and over agian, super greasy and yet still DRY! That’s what happens when you microwave meat. But here’s the thing I worked as a chef, this was cooked at least 1 weeks ago and RE-HEATEED at least 3 times. So gross!!!!

Spare ribs 10 out of 10
Ox tails 7 out of 10 (only received two pieces for a half pound order)compared to Les BBQ. The small one was a little tough, but the large one had the tenderness and flavor. I don’t really prefer the bark.
Mac & cheese, 4 out of 10 I honestly like Chick-fil-A Mac better. Tasted like it was made from a box. Very disappointed did not give me homemade baked mac & cheese at all, and not worth seven dollars.
Baked beans get a 10 out of 10 had a spicy kick to it.
The overall atmosphere was great the place was clean. Customer service was very good and the cookies bourbon pecan were delicious! I would definitely come back to try other things on the menu.

If you weren’t looking for it, you might miss it. Nestled in the old Hemet train stop, Destination Smokehouse whips up some solid brisket BBQ. No shortage of ice cream, strawberry sweetness & delicious waffle to wrap up the savory meal. Definitely worth the trip.

I had the pastrami burger, I paid $21 for just the sandwich, first of all the meat on their burgers is massive, my friends brisket burger was fabulous but I would want less hamburger and more brisket. I didn’t see a regular brisket sandwich on the menu just a cheddar and brisket (I may be wrong) the star of the show was the brisket, I ordered a pound to go, the sign said 30 dollars Pound but when I got up to the register they charged my 35 +tax a pound, they need to changed their signs, I wanted to try the oxtails but after spending $60 I wasn’t gonna spend another $35 dollars a pound.
I asked a guy who was eating them how they were, he said they were okay, he said they tasted a little burnt for his liking, I’ll have to check for myself next time. You better plan on spending about $30 dollars for lunch

Best BBQ in town! Highly recommend! Staff is professional and courteous and place is always nice and clean when we visit. All of the menu is great! My favorite would have to be the cheddar brisket on garlic toast
