During holiday period, cold weather, historic famous lights – all you need is the coffee, and this place suits well for the mood.
Light live music is a value add, to enhance the holiday spirit.
Food wise – Cakes are good.
Coffee is average – as it’s not hot at all.
It’s pricey though.
Service is decent as well.
Edit update: upon my return visit, I ordered a hot mocha. A combination of The Versailles and Dark Chocolate . They may have just given me dark chocolate because that’s really all I tasted, but none the less, it was delicious.
I also have to add that my service was wonderful! That right there is what makes all the difference. Day and night from my first experience, and that is why I almost always give any establishment a return visit, and never judge a book by its cover.
Lots of space, and welcoming touches.
Cafe is fantastic and I’m looking forward to trying more food!
I saw that they had crepes on the menu, and I had to try it. I ordered The Classic Crepe which came stuffed with strawberries, bananas, and vanilla ice cream. It was a good but messy combination. I did not like the choice of placement on a much smaller plate than what it should have been. The crepe was huge, and I liked the size of it. But the fact that it is on a plate that is smaller is where I was confused; it should not be hanging over the plate. The coffee shop should consider utilizing a more appropriately sized plate for their crepes.
I enjoyed the Honey Cinnamon Latte; however, the honey flavoring was subtle. The cinnamon flavoring was by far the predominant one of the two flavors.
