Waited an ungodly amount of time for 3 tacos to go. I was the only one in line. Waited almost 25mins for 3 potato egg and cheese. Paid $16. Tortillas were very dry and food was below average.
The only reason I believe this place is in business, is due to the lack of options.

I went to Desi’s Restaurant and honestly it wasn’t worth it. I ordered two bean chorizo add-cheese tacos and the total was almost eleven dollars. For that price, I expected something way better, but the tacos were just average. Super overpriced for what you get. I won’t be coming back.

This place was a 4 rated restaurant. Maybe for locals because it’s pretty much the only restaurant in town right off highway 90 by Batesville Texas. I wanted to chicken fried steak and like everywhere I go I have to tell them that I am allergic to shellfish. Waitress came back and said all is fried in the same oil. Keep that in mind for those of you who are also allergic. I then ordered the guisado plate. The guisado itself was good but the beans and rice were dry and not too tasty. Sad but never again.

Order the fish plate it’s huge. We had to wait a bit for our food we watched people come in eat and leave before we got our food. Other than that give it a try if you are driving through like me.

Don’t judge the book by its cover! Food was very flavorful and filling, the waitresses were attentive. Would definitely recommend, i most likely would go again when in town.
